My son was finally here. I could tell that Nadia was exhausted and she needed the rest. Jaxson is healthy and perfect, I can't get over it. I can't wait for the kids to get here with Nadia's sister to finally meet their little brother.
Aspen came with the kiddos about an hour later and Nadia was finally sleeping and Jaxson was taking a little snooze as well. I let Jaxson sleep against my chest as Nadia rested, she had been through enough today, she deserved the rest.
Wyatt walked in and gasped, "Is that my brother?" He asked, walking over by me. "This Jaxson?"
I nodded, "This is your little brother, Jaxson. He's sleeping right now, but I'm sure he'll wake up soon..." I smile at him, his reaction was priceless.
"Mommy sleeping?" Willow asked me, looking over at Nadia then at me, "And baby sleep too?"
I nodded again, looking at Willow, "They're both sleeping. Momma had a long day, so we're gonna let her take a little nap. But, I bet she'll be up soon and she'll be so happy to see you." I tell her as I pick her up and kiss her cheek, "Did you behave for Aunty Aspen?"
Willow nodded, "She make waffles! They were so good, daddy!" She giggled, looking over at Jaxson who was stirring awake. "Daddy, baby awake.."
Jaxson started crying and I set Willow down, going over by him and picked him up carefully. "Hey, hey, you're okay.." I cradled him in my arms and rocked him back and forth to calm him down.
Nadia sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes, "Is he okay?" She asked with a groggy voice.
I looked over at her and nodded, "Yeah, just wanted to be held." I kept rocking Jax back and forth, "How are you feeling?"
"Tired..." She turned and looked at the kids, "Hi, babies. Did you meet your baby brother?"
Willow nodded, "He so little, mommy." She replied.
"He is! You were that little once too. Did you hold him?"
I shook my head, "Neither of them have yet. He was sleeping so I was waiting for him to wake up." I told Nadia as I walked over by Willow, "You two have to be sitting down if you want to hold your baby brother. He's very little and you have to carefully hold him."
"I be good, daddy. Pwomise." Willow said as I placed Jaxson in her arms and she cradled him carefully. She gasped quietly and looked at him, "Daddy, he so cute..."
I smile at her, kissing her forehead, "Yeah? Are you so happy to finally meet him?"
She nodded, "Yeah, daddy. He name Jaxson?"
"Yup. His name is Jaxson Matthew," I said, "What do you think?"
"I like it, daddy!" She smiled.
I let Wyatt hold him for a bit as well before handing Jax over to Nadia who was just waiting to hold him. "He's got your nose," I smile at her.
Nadia smiles small, "I said this with Wyatt and Willow, but Jax is perfect." She says, kissing Jaxsons forehead. "You are so beautiful, little man.." she whispered and held him close to her.
"Looks like his momma.." I tell her as I sit down in the chair next to her. The kiddos had left with her sister for the night so they could get back to bed; I didn't want to keep them too long, although I know they were excited to meet Jaxson.
"I have to say, he was the hardest to push out. He was like fighting back," Nadia said, giggling quietly. "But he's finally here, and I couldn't be happier."

We got to go home two days later and I know that the other kids were going to be so excited that their little brother was going to be home. I couldn't wait to see how they would react with a little baby being in the home. When Willow was a baby, waking up in the middle of the night, it really didn't affect Wyatt; But I'm curious as to how Willow is going to react given that she is one to wake up through anything. I'm hoping with having the baby in our bedroom that it'll be helpful for Willow to sleep.
I walked in behind Nadia, carrying Jaxson in his carrier before setting him down on the couch. Wyatt and Willow quickly ran out and greeted us with hugs and smiles. I could tell they were ready for us to be home with Jaxson.
"Baby here, daddy?" Willow asked, walking over by the couch and smiled big when she saw Jaxson sleeping peacefully. "He sweeping.." She put her finger to her lips.
Nadia nodded, "Yup, he's had a long morning. Lots of doctor stuff. We're gonna let him nap for a little bit then he'll have something to eat and then you guys can hold him, okay?" She asked Willow, earning a nod in response. She carefully lifted Jaxson out of his carrier, carrying him to the bedroom where she laid him in the bassinet.
I walked in behind her and smiled, "Everything okay?"
She turned and faced me, "Yeah, babe. Perfect." She fixed Jax's little knit cap. "I still can't believe he's here. Like, my little man..." Nadia sat down on the bed and gently rocked the bassinet.
I sat next to her and kissed her cheek, "And you are so strong and such an amazing mom." I wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close. "I love you so much."
"I love you. Thank you for helping me through all of this." Nadia replied, kissing my lips.
"No need to thank me! It's what I'm here for. That's my little man too, I'm gonna make sure he's doing amazing." I tell her, rubbing her side, "I'm just glad you're healthy and he's healthy and everyone is happy."
A/N: Sorry it's short! I've been struggling with writing, but I promise I'm going to be putting out better stuff soon!
