(Y/N) felt the familiar pull of the boundary around her and shut her eyes. When she felt the atmosphere of the school once again, she opened her eyes. Nothing around her had changed, and she remained standing under the flickering light of the art room.

Wait, no. There was a change that was barely noticeable, but she was searching for it. The faintest scent of burning wood filtered through the air, and she was at ease, because she was now exactly where she needed to be. That didn't stop the voice that piped up behind her from being a surprise.

"I've never seen someone dream of the real world before, let alone someone wantin' to stay the same person." (Y/N) turned calmly to the speaker, who was sitting on a table behind her. "You intrigue me, Toilet-face." Her tone was light and jovial, merely poking fun at her guest. (Y/N) smiled in return.

"I know what I want is all. I'm glad I was able to pique your interest, o' Great Creation Myth," she responded, along with an exaggerated bow. When she straightened herself out she observed the girl leaning back casually. Her hair was wavy and soft lilac in color, while the ends of her hair faded into black. It was pulled over her shoulder in a complex braid the bathroom spirit could never hope to replicate. She was around the same height, if not a little shorter, than her guest, and the girl looked as though she could throw a winning punch with her heavyset frame. Her ears were pierced with dangling, golden wing earrings, and a pair of matching golden goggles sat up on her head. The Myth also wore a scorched leather apron with a few pockets in the front, a black t-shirt, a pair of heavy-duty canvas pants, and brown leather boots.

When (Y/N) looked back up and met her ashen eyes, she realized she had been studied as well. The lilac braid fell behind the Myth's back when she hopped down and approached the bathroom-haunter. "So, you're the Hanako-san I've heard about? At least I hear that's what you're going by these days. You've gotten yourself a couple of little assistants too, am I right?" She offered up a hand. "My name is Akari Kagashi. It's nice to finally meet ya! What can I do to make your dreams a reality?"

(Y/N) shook her hand. "Yeah, I go by Hanako, and technically I only have one assistant, the other is his brother I managed to get to tag along. As for my dreams," she gestured to the door and started for it, "I'd like to share them with you, if you don't mind?" Akari shrugged and followed her.

"Sure thing. I haven't seen much myself yet, which is a little odd." She glanced around the halls, looking for anything that could possibly be different from real life. "Normally there's a few ridiculously huge gaps that people just don't think of that I can have a little fun filling in or fill in with them, but this is the spittin' image of Kamome. Nothin' was missing." She scratched the back of her head. "I just don't get it. How long have you been creating an exact replica of the school in your head?"

"Well, it's definitely been a while. For a long time I just spent whole afternoons or nights picturing it, but to get that you have to know about something else I've been wanting to do," (Y/N) kept on walking, taking a planned path outside through the garden that was vibrant with life, along with a few students that nurtured it. Akari was puzzled, but let her fellow ghost go through her speech that seemed as planned as the rest of this.

"Helping people has always been something I've wanted to do in my life. I wanted nothing more than to be able to save everyone, and I learned that wasn't possible in one of the hardest ways someone could come to realize it." Her fists clenched as harrowing memories resurfaced, but she took a deep breath and released them as they continued to walk. Her creative companion was still looking around for any discrepancy as they were rounding the front of the school. The lack of them left her both impressed and disappointed.

"I realized after a while, once I was dead, that I didn't have to stop helping people. As a ghost though, I. . ." she paused, shaking her head slightly, "I couldn't do it all on my own, you know?" Bitterness was rooted deeply in her words, snapping Akari's unwavering attention to her.
