Alec and Avia were sitting quietly in their office as they worked on some manuscripts that have been put on their desks by Ross. It was a quiet day at work so they got a lot down with the manuscripts, that was when Avia's office phone started ringing.

"This is Avia." Avia said as she answered the phone.

"Sorry to disturb you Avia. But there's a man down in the lobby asking for you." Robert, the security guy, spoke up.

"What's his name?" Avia asked putting her pen down on the desk.

"Um... Shane Peterson."

"Please escort him out of the building and make sure he doesn't come back here." Avia felt her chest close up as she hung up the phone. She didn't mean to be rude to Robert, but she didn't want to hear Shane on the other end of the phone arguing with Robert.

"Hey, you okay?" Alec asked Avia as he looked up from his work.

"Yeah... I just need to go to the toilet." Avia got up from her desk with her phone in her hand and left the office to go to the lady's toilets.

She leaned against the sink in the toilet as she took deep breaths to calm herself. Avia managed to calm herself down a little bit before calling Aria.

"Come on, pick up, pick up."

Hey it's Aria, you've reached my voicemail.

"Crap!" Avia hung the phone up and the looked through her contact to find someone to call. The only other person who knows about her ex is Evie and she's in school. Avia stopped on her dad's name, she'll have to explain to him what he's done to her, but he'd come down anyways. She pushed his number and it started ringing.

"Hey sweetie, what's up?" Brian asked answering the phone.

"Dad..." Avia felt her chest closing up again with tears running down her face.

"Avia. What's wrong?" Brian switched from relaxed, chill dad to protective worried dad in the split of a second. "Avia, take deep breaths. Where's Alec?"

"He's working. I know I should have told you about this, but I didn't and I regret that..."

"Honey, what's going on?"

"My ex is here at my work. I have no idea how he found out where I worked, but he's here right now and I don't know what to do." Avia cried as she slid to the floor, bringing her knees to her chest.

"Jay and I are on our way now. Go to Alec and tell him what is going on."

Avia heard yelling coming from outside of the bathroom. She got up off the floor, still on the phone to her dad, opened the door to see Alec yelling at Shane, her ex-boyfriend from San Diego.

"Get the hell out of here before she comes back, and how the hell did you find out where she worked anyways?" Alec asked crossing his arms over his chest.

"Her mum told me; I don't understand why she did since she hates men." Shane answered Alec with his arms crossed.

"Listen, she doesn't want to see you. After what she told me about what you did to her. So, do us all a favour and leave." Alec pointed to the elevator.

"Look buddy, I have no idea who you are but I have a right to see Avia just as much as the next person." Shane sized up the six foot plus man standing in front of him.

Avia would have easily laughed considering Shane is only five foot eight, but right now all she wants is him gone. She slipped back into the toilets and locked the door, Avia knows how Shane gets when he doesn't get what he wants and she doesn't want to be out there.
