Chapter 23--- The Villasenior twins

Uriel/Steffany’s POV.

Nakasakay na kami ngayon sa private plane namin. Me, Calex and kuya Raven. While Tyler, he’s waiting for us sa Hotel Villasenior in LA. Were going to travel more or less 1 hour from LA to the part of California where my Mom’s farm located. Sa isang farm kami pupunta. ‘Yun kasi ang pinagkaka-abalahan ni Mommy together with her helpers.

Helpers, just thinking about it—I can’t hide the smile that’s forming on my lips. Panu ba naman ‘yung mga dating astiging membro ng Mafia Sarttori ay mga farmers na ngayon. Pero okay na rin ‘yun, atleast my Mom is living peacefully sa farm n'ya. While us, maraming pinu-problema.

‘‘Halloo..’’ Naagaw ng Kuya ko ang atensyon ko.

Nag-aala fight attendant s’ya ngayon, pushing a food tray with--lighted candle on top of a cake?

Ano na namang pakulo ito at—

‘‘Happy Birthday Rue. Make a wish, make a wish.’’ Napatawa nalang ako ng mahina sa inasta ng kapatid ko. Yeh, birthday ko na pala ngayon...December 24.

I look to my right and see Calex’s smiling at me. Nag nod lang siya para ipa-wish ako. Even though people like us may karapatan rin namang mag wish diba? I slowly close my eyes and wish.

‘‘Now, blow the candle.’’ Agad na sabi ni Kuya pagmulat ko ng mata.

‘‘Okay, go crazy with the cake.’’ Kung anu-ano talaga pinagsasabi ni Kuya.

‘‘Happy Birthday, babe.’’ Then Calex planted a kiss on my cheek.

I just smile at him at pumikit. Marami kaming problemang kinahaharap and I only wish for one thing. To get through with all of this.

‘‘So, what’s the problem that I heard?’’ Napamulat ako ng magsalita si Kuya.

‘‘Huh?’’ Inosenting tanong ko at nilingon si Calex na nakatingin rin pala sa’kin.

‘‘Don’t play damn at me! What is it? Hindi mo dapat itago ito kay Fritz ‘cause he’s freak’n much involved in this!’’

‘‘Is this about the nerd guy? Why am I involved?’’ Si Calex na nakakunot noong nagtanong.

‘‘SALIGIA, they’re coming for you!’’ Sabi ko at hinarap si Calex.

‘‘SALIGIA? What the hell was that even mean?’’ 

‘‘SALIGIA or The seven deadly sins. SALIGIA based on the first letters in Latin of the seven deadly sins: superbia, avaritia, luxuria, invidia, gula, ira and acedia.’’ Si Kuya ang nag explain, pero mas lalong kumunot ang noo ni Calex.

‘‘The seven deadly sins are. Superbia, avaritia, luxuria, invidia, gula, ira and acedia OR, pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth.’’ Pagpapatuloy ko.

‘‘So, what’s this all about?’’ Takang tanong ni Calex.

‘‘Someone want’s you dead and he’s using the seven deadly sins. I read that warning message for you or more of a threat. You live, they’ll die. You die, they’ll be save. And, one more thing. I found out si Robert ang nagtangka sa buhay mo last night.’’ Seryosong sabi ko kay Calex na ikinagulat nito.

‘‘If someone is behind all of this, he’s manipulating this people using the seven deadly sins. They’re the predators, while Calex is the prey.’’ At tinitigang mabuti ni kuya si Calex bago bumaling sa’kin.
