Chapter 23 : Gustave ?!

" Gustave , where is gustave ? " Christine asked . Here face shows that she's frightened .
" what ? Whats wrong ? " I asked
" Gustave . He's suppose to be waiting for Raoul . Before he ask me to .. no he wouldn't .. " Christine was panicking . I ran out the door

" It's that idiot Raoul , i will kill that drunkard fool ! He dare take a child , a child that isn't his . "
" Sir ! " Squelch called out to me .
" The Vicomte de Chagny left here alone sir . Saw with my own eyes, sir .There was no one with him . Was there anyone else here backstage?" . Now that I think about it Madame giry !
" Madame Giry, she was here with her vicious little sneer and that comment she made. The ungrateful back biting snake! "
I was mad , that comment she made to me about Christine and Gustave really pisses me off . Surely she did something .
" Go now quickly Bring her round! Bring the boy back safe and sound .Then I'll make that Vincent pay ."
Christine came to me to calm me down . How could I ? I probably will be the reason Gustave went missing . 

" What is the meaning of this? How dare your minions manhandle me in this fashion? I demand an answer! " Madame Giry came .
" The boy, woman. What have you done with him? "
" The boy? You think I took the boy? Why would I do such a thing? Do you think I don't know who he is? "

Suddenly Fleck called out to me
" Sir ! I just passed Meg's dressing room .It was empty as a tomb .But her mirror was smashed , all in pieces on the floor ."
Meg ? Why would meg shatter her mirror ? Is it her ? Is she the one who took gustave

" God I left her, so distraught .Please, who knows just what she thought . I'm afraid she's come undone . "
Christine and I look at one another . What is Madame giry talking about ? Madame giry went to Christine " but she won't hurt him . Meg would never hurt him ." where would meg go ? I keep thinking and thinking and I realised she like swimming , she must have gone there .

" I know where she is going . But we must hurry ! " I took Christine hand and ran towards the sea . As we get nearer I saw meg and Gustave at the top of the deck .
