VIII- Breaking Point.

Three Days Later

"Okay I'm gonna give you three options. One-", August starts, but gets cut off. "Excuse me? Who the fuck-", Kennedy starts, but gets cut off.

"Don't cut me off, back to what I was saying. One, you can tell the nigga you're cheating and leave him. Two, I can tell the nigga you're cheating and that you're leaving. Or Three, you can stay with that nigga and lose me in the process.", he says folding his arms.

"Are you really doing this?", Kennedy asks standing up. "Yeah, I really am. I told you when you told me you had a boyfriend that I was willing to wait, just don't have me waiting forever. You promised me that you wouldn't, and yet that's exactly what you're doing. You're 0 for 2 Ken.", August says backing away from her.

"August, don't-.", she says walking to him and trying to cup his face. "Mm Mm, don't do that please. I'm tired of constantly arguing with you about this and nothing ever changes.", he says pushing her hands away as they drop down to her sides in defeat.

Kennedy
I can't even argue with that, because it's true. I don't wanna lose August, but I don't wanna hurt Peyton either.

"We've been doing this for damn near three months, if you can't tell I'm falling for you more by the day. I'm yours, all yours. There's no one else but you. I just want the same from you. That's it, and if we gotta stop this for a minute for that to happen, then so be it.", August says backing away from her again.

"I just wanna know how you're speaking on this so calmly as if I'm gonna agree with you? For the record, I don't.", Kennedy says following him.

"I'm not asking you to agree with me, I'm letting you know where I stand. Either it's you and I, or it's you and him. The choice is yours and I'll accept whatever you choose. I gotta go.", August says grabbing his keys. "Aug..", she says lowly.

"Look..", he says wrapping his arm around her neck and pulling her to him. "I'm here whenever you're ready. I just can't keep enabling this when nothing's gonna change. I'm sorry Ken, but I gotta go.", he says kissing her forehead then letting her go and walking out of the door. "Fuck.", she groans runs a hand down her face.

Kennedy
Well that hurt..

Later On with August

"So.. she has had a boyfriend this entire time. Damn.", Elijah says looking at August. "Yeah, she has. I don't wanna be away from her right now, it's the last thing I want, but if it's what I gotta do in order for her to get it together, then so be it.", August says shrugging and drinking his juice.

"How did you even continue with this after she told you that?", Elijah asks. "I can relate to her situation, and I didn't wanna lose her just off of that. She would have to do some really fucked up shit for me to leave her alone for good. Like I told her if her relationship was really on the up and up, she wouldn't have given me the time of day.", August says.

"You have a point there my brother, what are you gonna do in the meantime?" he asks. "All I can do is wait.", he says.

With Kennedy

"He didn't drop me, but he dropped me. Temporarily, until I break up with Peyton.", Kennedy says pulling her hair back into a ponytail. "Are you going to?", Angel asks.

"Hell yeah, I miss Aug and it hasn't even been 24 hours without him. Ughhhh!", she groans into a pillow. "Awnnn baby.. when is he coming back?", Angel asks rubbing her back.

"What's today, Sunday? He comes back Tuesday. Two more days without my baby. I'm really tempted to do this shit over the phone, but that's fucked up. That's what I get for caring about niggas feelings.", she says rolling her eyes. "Have y'all talked to each other since he left?", Angel asks. "Nooooo.", she says whining and pouting.

"So when he said stop what y'all doing for a minute, he meant in every aspect?", Angel asks. "Unfortunately. I'm not expecting a text or call from him, because I know I'm not gonna get either one.", Kennedy says sighing and putting her face in her hands.

"This is totally off topic, but have you two had sex yet?", Angel asks. "No we have not. We got each other like this without fucking, and that is literally the best part about things with August and I.", she says smiling. "Damn. Yeah, you gotta leave P. ASAP no Rocky. Then get the dick from August.", Angel says laughing. "Baby of courseeee.", Kennedy says still smiling.

Later that Night

"Bruhhhhhh.", Kennedy says doing a drawn out groan into a pillow until she hears her phone ring.

"Baby🥰" would like to facetime..

"Hi.", she says answering the phone and smiling. "Hey, are you okay?", August asks. "I am now.", she says. "You weren't before..", he says walking into his room. "How could I be? I miss you.", she says putting her phone on her water bottle on her nightstand. "I miss you too.", he says looking at her while laying down. "Then come back.", she says resting her head on her fist. "I can't.", he says.

"Why the fuck not?", she asks raising her eyebrow. "It's clear you needed time away from me physically in order to get some sense into you, so I'm gonna stay away from you physically until you do what you gotta do.", he says. "Auggg.", she whines.

"Look, I don't wanna be away from you no more than you wanna be away from me, but this is clearly what it took to show you I'm not playing any games anymore.", August says making her give him a mean mug. "Don't look at me like that Kennedy.", he says raising his eyebrow. "We're back on a government name basis now? This is some bullshit.", she says turning her head away from him.

It's funny watching her act like this, but like I said it's clearly putting some affect on this situation. I'm finally on the road to getting my girl.
