XXII- I Love You.

"Did you say what I think you just said?", Kennedy asks in shock. "That I love you? Yes, because I do. I love you.", August says taking her hand and interlocking their fingers, making her smile. "I love you too, baby.", she says leaning over and kissing him passionately.

Shit, I thought I was gonna embarrass myself just now cause I didn't think she was gonna say it back honestly. I saw an opportunity to tell her, and I took it. I've been falling more and more in love with her by the day, it was only a matter of time before I told her. I love her, and I'll let the whole world know that shit.

I really do love August, he has gone through hell and back with me these past six months when he easily could've left. His love is so pure, it's something I've never had and I love that shit. I'll scream that I love this man on top of the highest skyscraper, I don't care.

"Mm, Mm! I love you.", Kennedy says pecking his lips before pulling away completely and smiling. "I love you too.", August says rubbing the side of his nose against hers and smiling. "Say it one more time.", she says getting on his lap and cupping his face while smiling. "I love you.", he says looking up at her and smiling making her smile grow wider as she covers her face.

"Yep, this is it.", she says shaking her head and taking her hands off of her face. "What's it?", he asks raising an eyebrow. "Where I want to be in life, this is it. I'm happy with everything right now. Salon is doing great, I've let go of the toxicity that is Robin and Michael, I let go of a dead relationship, and I'm in love with someone who loves me flaws and all.", she says smiling.

"Sure do, I'm proud of you baby.", August says wrapping his arms around her waist. "Thank you love.", Kennedy says wrapping her arms around his neck. "You stealing my lines now?", he asks with his head laying on her chest. "I've jacked so much shit from you, don't even.", she says starting to play in his hair making him exhale deeply.

"That feels so good baby.", he says closing his eyes. "If you about to go to sleep let me lay down first.", she says getting off his lap and laying down next to him. "You know I ain't going to sleep.", he says laying his head back down on her chest and wrapping his arms around her as she starts playing in his hair again. "You say that now, I give you 10 minutes.", she says.

"I'll still be up.", August says softly squeezing one of her breasts. "You really love my titties huh?", Kennedy asks chuckling. "Yes, I do. Like they're fucking perfect for no reason.", he says kissing the cleavage above her sports bra.

"I wanna get a tattoo right above where you're kissing, I just don't know what I wanna get.", she says. "Get a quote, or a word that describes you.", he says. "Taking those into consideration.", she says nodding.

Sunday Morning

"Congratulations B, I'm so proud of you.", Kennedy says hugging Bryson. "Thank you, I'll see you in Cali in about a month.", Bryson says hugging her back. "Yessss, call me and keep me updated.", she says pulling away. "I will, it was nice meeting you August.", he says dapping up August.

"Likewise, congratulations bro.", August says patting his back. "Thank you.", he says. "Well we shall be goinggg, I love you Bryson.", Kennedy says. "I love you too, be safe.", he says. "Always.", she says starting to walk to the car.

"Bye Kennedy.", Robin says. "Bye Ken.", Michael says. "Goodbyeeee Demon #1 and Demon #2", Kennedy says getting in the car and putting up the peace sign then closing the door. "You are so fucking petty.", August says shaking his head as he gets in the car and closes the door.

"Learned from the petty king, also known as you.", she says looking at him. "Petty king, I'll proudly claim that title.", he says starting to drive off. "That title and the fact that you live up to it is gonna get you slapped one day. Cause why are you like this?", she asks laughing. "I'm a Virgo, it's expected baby.", he says shrugging.

"I done fell in love with a petty ass Virgo, that's crazy.", Kennedy says shaking her head and smiling. "I done fell in love with a bad mouth having Scorpio, now that's crazy.", August says chuckling and looking at the road. "My mouth isn't bad.", she says punching him in the arm.

"Yes it is, you real slick at the mouth. Take yesterday for instance." he says. "I had the right to be slick at the mouth at that moment though. Give me a real time where I was being slick for no reason.", she says. "Hmmm.. Oh, when you told your mom you wasn't getting her any food that morning we went to get breakfast with Bryson.", he says.

"Well- Yeah I can give you that one, I was just being slick for fun. She deserved it though, so oh well.", she says shrugging.

Back in California at Ken's Apartment

"I really don't feel like doing shit today.", Kennedy says flopping on her bed. "Then let's not do shit today, just enjoy each other's company.", August says. "Sounds like a plan.", she says.

"What we watching?", August asks laying between Kennedy's legs. "A little Tyler Perry in this thang, Madea's Family Reunion.", Kennedy says pressing play then putting the remote down.

"Okay.. If you were on death row and your choices for your last meal were me and the best bowl of gumbo ever made, what's your choice?", Kennedy asks looking at August. "That's easy, you. You taste way better than a bowl of gumbo.", August says. "It's the best bowl of gumbo though, not just a regular ol bowl.", she says.

"I've already had the best gumbo ever made, and it was mine. Plus imagine eating pussy as your last meal, that's clutch as fuck. On top of that if it's yours? I'll be very satisfied.", he says he says looking up at the ceiling. "You just love pumping my head up huh?", she asks.

"I don't be gassing you, I just be telling you shit straight how it is. You know what you taste like, I don't be kissing you after I give you head for my health.", August says. "Hm, you have a valid point baby.", Kennedy says nodding.

"Of course I do.", he says. "Okay smart ass.", she says playfully rolling her eyes. "You love me though.", he says looking at her next to him. "That I do.", she says looking at him and smiling.
