"Happy Anniversary papa.", Kennedy says looking at the clock then down at August and tracing his tattoos with her nail. "Happy Anniversary my love.", August says rubbing her back.

"What time is it?", Kennedy asks watching Moesha. "Like 2AM.", August asks on his phone. "Let's go to IHOP, no Waffle House.", Kennedy says poking his chest. "Waffle House? Well shit, let's go.", August says sitting up and grabbing his keys.

"I want two waffles, four sausage patties, two orders of hash browns, and a large water.", Kennedy says smiling. "Just gone top it off with a water?", August chuckles. "Yes sirrrr.", she says scrolling on Instagram. "Alrighty then.", he says rolling down his window and starting to order.

Me & Aug didn't really make a big deal out of today. Like we didn't plan anything, so we're basically treating today like a regular ol Sunday. We just gone do what we do.

"No that doesn't make any sense babe.", Kennedy says as August pulls up to the first window. "Why don't it?", August asks getting his card out of his wallet. "It just doesn't, it's literally common sense.", she says pulling her hair back into a ponytail. "Okayyy.", he says. "29.16", the worker says as August hands her his card. "Got me spending damn near $30 on food, can't believe this.", he says looking at her. "You can't?", she asks raising her eyebrow. "Wait, you're August Alsina.", the worker says smiling. "Yes ma'am, hello.", he says waving and smiling. "Can I get a picture?" , she asks. "Of course.", he says getting out of the car.

"So, what you wanna do today? Ya know, after we wake up?", August asks eating his bacon. "I wanna go to the mall. I'm starting to gain weight, so need to start getting clothes that fit. Or just go back to the gym.", Kennedy says eating her waffles. "I need to get back in the gym too, the gym in the house just sits there. All the equipment just collecting dust.", he says drinking his water. "I never even knew there was a gym at home.", she says looking at him. "Exactly.", he chuckles.

"What color should I get my nails the next time I go?", Kennedy asks putting a hand in front of her and looking at her nails. "Put ya hand around my dick and I'll decide what color looks good around it.", August says making her stop eating her sausage for a second. "Really?", she asks smiling. "I mean they going around it eventually, so it'd be nice to know what color is gonna be around it.", he shrugs. "m

"Mmm.. I say red, what you think?", she asks finishing the rest of her food. "Let me visualize since you ain't bout that.", he says closing his eyes making her laugh. "Trust me, I'm bout it. I'm just eating right now.", she says shaking her head. "Blah, blah. Red is good, get my initials on your ring finger for the culture.", he says opening his eyes and nodding.

"For the culture? Okay. I wanna planning on doing that eventually.", Kennedy says throwing her trash in the bag. "Niggas gone know who you belong to tuh-day!", he says clapping on the syllables. "No you know what you should do? Get me a necklace with ya name on it, or an anklet with your initials on it.", she says tapping her finger on her head and nodding as she lays her head on his chest. "Hmm.. you righttt.", he says nodding.

"Just imagine the necklace dangling in- nah I'm just nasty.", she says drinking her water the putting it back in the coaster in the front. "Nah I'm imagining it too, we ordering that shit today.", he says making her laugh.

"Which ones should I post?", August asks going to the folder in his gallery with pictures and videos of them. "You have a folder for us? Awnnn.", Kennedy says smiling as she goes through the folder with him. "You don't?", he asks. "Nah, I do. I've had it since we started sneaking around.", she says. "That's bold.", he says.

"That nigga knew not to go through my phone. Ooh this video cause my ass looks fat, this video cause you look delicious, this picture because that sun was blessing us in the Bahamas, and this picture simply because we fine as fuck.", she says selecting the videos and pictures. "We are one fine ass couple.", he says nodding and typing a caption.

"Hmm, let's confuse em bae. Halfway, with the ring.", August says typing the caption then posting it. "Ohhhh.. Halfway because we six months today, which is half a year.", Kennedy says nodding. "Yeahhhh, exactly.", he says sucking in his lips and nodding. "Okay we both know I'm slow, no need to rub it in.", she chuckles.

"You better not act a fool in this store.", Kennedy says walking in Victoria's Secret. "I'm notttt, but if I see something I wanna see on you, I'm getting it.", August says shrugging. "You know my size babe?", she asks looking around. "Yes ma'am I do.", he says doing the same.

"Oh, okay.", she says turning to look up at him. "I know everything about you, love. From your favorite color down to your shoe size. Which are blue and 9.5.", he says looking down at her and smiling. "Awnnn baeeee.", she says smiling.

"I wanna see you in this, like immediately.", August says putting a crimson lace lingerie set up to her body. "You have good taste babe.", Kennedy says looking down at it. "You know me.", August says smiling and popping his imaginary collar. "No.", Kennedy says laughing. "Really just played a nigga out man.", he says shaking his head.

"You might get lucky tonight.", she says closing the bag and looking back at him. "I hope I do.", he says biting his lip.
