Making a move

The bell rang throughout the school, and immediately everyone started packing up their stuff. "Remember to do your assignments for tomorrow's class!" Mrs Benson reminded us, as people started filing out of the classroom.

I was about to leave too, when I saw a red post-it on my bag, which I had on the floor during the whole class. Surprised, I peeled it off, and I realized there was a message on it. It read:

Hiya! I think your really cute. Signed, your admirer ;-)

I read the message over and over again, not really believing my eyes. I feel like I really needed to get them checked out.

I quickly looked around, observing everyone who was still around me, but no one was paying me any attention. I stared at the note, thinking about everyone it could possibly be. I grabbed my backpack and headed to the cafeteria.

Maybe it was Josh Green, that cute dude with the curly red hair who sits right behind me. He's really good at art...but come to think of it, I think he's interested in Lila Stewart, who's the captain of the cheerleading team.

It could never be Chase, cause he's not even in my class. I wish it was him though. So...maybe it was Charley Brooks who sat to my left. He's a star quarterback, and is incredibly sexy. Thick blond hair, hazel eyes, and a smile that seems to twinkle like in the movies. But then again, he's way out of my league.

Or was it Khalid Grant, the African American who sits to my right. He had black curly hair and brown eyes, and he was apart of the school choir. But, I don't know, he seemed to be in his own world most of the time. I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote poems or something.

I finally got to the cafeteria, and I joined the line, grabbing a food tray in the process. I was simply looking around the place, and when I realized who was standing in front of me in the line, I did a double take.

Allison Tanner.

This girl was the legit queen of the school. Perfect, bouncy, golden hair and forest green eyes. She had that perfect shiny skin and a face without a flaw. She even had the body of a model, her long legs going on forever, and the right amount of curves.

People like her make me wonder if I'm straight or not.

She's actually super smart, and Lila, the cheerleading captain, begged her to join the squad, but Allison would rather work with the school year book and be a science geek.

Allison turned around to face me, with a skeptical look on her face, and I immediately froze. I did not see that coming.

"Umm...h-hi?" I asked nervously, since she seemed to stare at me for ages. "Oh, I'm sorry for staring but...you look awfully familiar. Like I've seen you before," she said. "Well, you've probably seen me at school," I said, giving her a look that said 'duh'.

"No no no, I mean, a couple years back. As in preschool..." she said trailing off. "Oh! Well, uhh... I don't really know what your talking about," I told her. I'm literally starting to think she's weirder than I thought.

"Oh... okay," she said in embarrassment, turning back around in the line. I felt bad, and I was going to say something, but then the lunch lady shouted at me, saying "Would you hold your tray properly?! I ain't got all day!"

I snapped my head to face the lady, trying my best to hold back my feisty side. I held up my tray, mumbling an apology. She put in a cheese sandwich, milk, pudding, an apple and some fries. I told her thanks, but she didn't reply. I glared at the fat lady before walking off.

I spotted Livie at our normal seat, but I didn't see Alice. I guess she's still upset. I went right over to her, and she smiled at me.

"Hey! Where's everyone?" I asked, taking a seat in front of her.
