Peter's POVI felt groggy as I woke up from the cold floor. Where? I'm not sure. I've been on the streets for a week now. At least I think I have. I can't remember much from the last week other than being kicked out of course. Why, do you ask? Because I simply ate. May was...what's the word? Strict on food consumption.
It baffled me because she could pay to go out to drink expensive wine yet when it came to me, it was a crime to even eat a bowl of cereal in the morning. And that's exactly what I did.
I snuck a bowl of cereal into my room because I had woken up earlier than usual and couldn't ignore the aching pain in the pit of my stomach when she caught me thanks to my Parker™ luck. I just had to listen to music in the morning.
God one mistake ruined everything.
Next thing I knew she bashed the bowl at my head after throwing it out of the window and demanding to pack my stuff and to leave in 10 minutes or there would be consequences. I didn't pack much other than I few changes of underwear and clothes. I managed to smuggle my suit and a few granola bars I've forgotten that I had stashed.
My thoughts were interrupted by a loud gurgling noise from my stomach, followed by two others. I rummaged my bag for a granola bar, hoping I had at least one that remained. Not surprised there weren't any.
I mumbled a quiet shit as I collect whatever items I had left in a badge, sitting against the wall. I didn't have the energy to move nor did I have the strength in me to go to work today.
Next thing I knew my eyes were slowly fluttering shut, darkness enveloping my vision.
Tony's POV
There was so much work in my lab that I couldn't even remember what time it was when I finished. Or hoped I finished at least. I felt like my head was gonna explode.
I started walking to the kitchen to make myself an even taller mug of coffee. The one skill in the kitchen I could do. I pulled out my phone scrolling through the news sipping my coffee while doing so.
I felt a sinking feeling in my chest like something was wrong, when I suddenly remembered Peter. I haven't heard from the spider in over a week and started to get worried about his well being.
So the only thing I could do was call him. I dialed Peters home phone number to see if he was home and then proceed to call his personal cell if no one answered.
"What do you want."
Woah, May's sounds crankier then usual.
"This is uh Tony, Tony stark." There sounded to be some glass clanking from the other side of the phone, more specifically alcohol.
I would know, I was one.
"What is it you need Stark." Her words were slurred, and the phone kept shaking as she spoke so I assumed she was drunk. My heart started pounding as it quickened twise as fast as before.
