Beep Beep Beep

I groaned, slamming my phone in an attempt to make the noise stop.

'Gosh, I'm so stupid! I forgot to take off my alarm for school who does that!? damnit!"

I might as well get up since you know, I'm already awake anyways.

I rolled out of my bed, slumping to the ground. I stood up making my way to the kitchen, half-asleep.

What I didn't expect was to see Steve there. What could he be doing at this time of the morning?

"Hey kiddo, what are you doing up?"

"What am I doing up? What are you doing up?"

I rubbed my eyes plopping on the barstool next to Steve.

"I'm going on my daily morning jog."

"You're doing what!?"

"Going on a jog?"

"Oh no I heard you. I'm just questioning your life decisions at the moment."

He chuckled halfheartedly shaking his head. Over the span of months, I've been more comfortable and easy-going around the avengers. I went to Mr. Rogers to Steve rather quickly considering I'm the most awkward person you'll ever meet.

"Well, wanna go with me, spidey boy?"

I pretended to think, looking at the roof for a few seconds.

"Absolutely not. Nope."

He looked at me with a blank expression rolling his eyes.

"C'mon Pete don't be like that. Pleaseee join me?"

I sighed giving in. I'm already up and have nothing better to do. So why not. Plus, more bonding time with steve.

"Fine."

"Awesome! Now off you go and get ready young man. You are far from dressing appropriately for a run."

"Okay Steve I'm going quit rushing me"

He laughed once again

I'm not sure where this sudden rush of confidence came from and especially towards Steve but who knows. Probably from waking up too early. I'm just grumpy I guess.

Not more then 5 minutes later I was dressed in gym shorts and a Nike shirt.

I walked to the kitchen quickly scarfing down some food. Steve walked by me, tossing me a water bottle.

"Let's to lazy butt."

I replied with a groan, trailing behind him. This is not what I wanted or expected to do on a Saturday morning.

I usually slept in or scrolled through my Instagram under the covers, occasionally watching vines on YouTube. This was very new to me. Spiderman or not.

"Now I'm warning you kiddo, this is going to be tough. Try to keep up eh?"

"I'll try," I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

We started our run soon after. And let me just say. Damn.

It was way more intense then I thought. I could hardly keep up with him.
