third person

Bucky takes a deep breath before he knocks three times on the door of the parker residence. He silently prayed that his aunt wouldn't be there, he was a mess as it is.

In all honestly, bucky had no idea what was going on inside his brain lately. He felt that if he asked the young Spiderling to explain things for him, he would lose the thoughts that were invading his brain. He was clearly very wrong. He couldn't ask steve because steve was gone, and sam was out of the question for many personal reasons. He didn't know who else to approach and thought that peter being a teenager in today's society would help bucky better.

"Mr. Barnes? W-what are you doing here? Do you need me for a mission are there any more aliens? should I suit up! This seems urgent by the look of your face I'll go suit up r-" Bucky was almost at a loss of words on how much this kid spoke. It seemed that his rambling would never stop if he hadn't interrupted

"Kid, everything's fine the world doesn't need saving. This is about... something else" bucky looked away with a flushed face, hoping peter wouldn't catch the light pink dusting his cheeks.

Peter looked at the older man flabbergasted. Usually if one of the avengers talked to him it was about some sort of mission. This must be important.

Bucky was unsure how peter would react when the words would eventually spur out of bucky's mouth. The thing is, he had a hard time expressing his feelings, to Steve and well everyone. Especially after the winter solder. Peter would be no exception. Except, he didn't necessarily have a choice on whom he could confront about his sticky situation. His options were very limited. And in Peter's words, he was urgent.

"Oh alright then come on in...may isn't home so it's just us." Bucky let out a sigh of relief upon hearing those words. He would need to be with Peter and Peter alone.

"Do you uh want a glass of water maybe?" Bucky answered with no hesitation,

"Yes, please." Peter stood up to get Bucky a glass of water, and one for himself. He offered to put ice, but bucky declined.

This gave time for bucky to collect his thoughts. He hadn't even thought about what he would say.

Impulsive much Barnes

Bucky sat silently for a few minutes, trying to think of what he would say that wouldn't sound completely absurd. He could tell the teen was getting impatient.

"Okay so um, I look at Sarah, Sam's sister, and think oh wow she pret-"

Peter bounced his leg in anticipation, looking at the Invisible watch on his wrist.

"Ok, so I don't wanna make it seem like I want you to leave but um what exactly did you come here for? Okay sorry that sounded rude I just have a lot of homework to catch up on and this was super sudden and I guess you could say I'm really shocked to see you of all people here-"

"Ithinkilikebothgenders!" Bucky flushed a darker red than earlier, looking away in utter shame.

"I'm s-sorry?" Bucky took a deep breath and turned to look at Peter,

"I like girls-"

"Oh yeah, I heard you were a big ladies man, a charmer I've been told-"

"And guys..." Peter paused in the middle of his ramble, looking at bucky with a tilt of his head. It's not that Peter didn't accept bucky, oh no he definitely did. He was just... surprised, to say the least. He hadn't heard of men from the 40s with an attraction towards the same gender, which was forbidden. Even now some boomers were iffy about the topic in general.
