[66] Miss Scorpia

They walk back inside and into a classroom where an older lady is handing out juice boxes to the older kids. 

Scorpia looks down on Leo and sees he fell asleep with his thumb in his mouth. She strokes his head gently, before looking around the classroom. All different ages, but all wide smiling, healthy kids.

Scorpia speaks up with a chipper tone in her voice: "Good morning wonderful children!

The kids enthusiastically wish her a good morning too.

Scorpia's eyes sparkle as she looks at the happy faces and Violetta says: "That sounded like that wasn't the first time you greeted a class full of kids."

"You're right. I used to be a kindergarten teacher."

"Really?"

"Yes, really."

"And now you're the owner of a big company?"

Scorpia laughs and says: "Yes. Not because I went to school for it, but because I have enough money to make a difference. And when you have the funds, you can hire people who did go to school for it."

The kids enjoy their juice and Scorpia leans against the desk at the front of the classroom. 

Violetta says: "Kids, we have a real teacher here today. Miss Scorpia."

The kids all yell a welcome and one of them raises her hand. 

Scorpia points at her and asks: "What do you want to ask me?"

"Do you read stories miss?"

"I sure do. Do you have a favorite?"

The girl yells: "Tow Truck Pluck!"

"Oh really? With his red tow truck and Zaza the cockroach. That's one of my favorites too."

The girl smiles wide and Scorpia looks at Violetta. "Do you have that book here?"

Violetta shakes her head and says a bit embarrassed: "Books are pretty expensive..."

Scorpia cuts her off and says: "I'll read it." She pulls her phone from her pocket and looks for the book online. 

She starts to read it out loud and it goes silent in the classroom. Violetta and Bart sit down too and listen to the story breathlessly. Scorpia beams as she twists her voice differently for every character. She looks around the classroom and sees she holds everyone's attention, even Bart and Violetta's. 

A wave of sighs goes through the room when she reaches the end of the story. 

Bart whispers a wow and Violetta claps softly. 

Scorpia says: "If it's okay with you, I would love to do this again. And I'll bring real books for you next time."

The kids clap and cheer and Leo wakes up. He looks up at Scorpia with his golden eye and places his little hand on her chin. She presses a kiss on his hand and he babbles at her. She takes a picture of the gorgeous boy and sends it to Logan. 

She gets up from the desk and puts her phone back into her back pocket. 

Bart gets up with a wide grin on his face and Violetta quickly makes her way over. "Scorpia, that was... I've never witnessed something like this before." 

Bart says: "I would have loved a teacher like you. I still do really."

Scorpia laughs and says: "It was so much fun to do. I've missed it." They say goodbye to the kids and walk out of the classroom. "Violetta? What do you really need? And be honest with me, okay?"
