[28] Ventotto - Brother?

They wake up early the next morning. Logan runs his fingertips over her spine, while Scorpia traces the scars on his chest with her fingers. She's been trying to come up with a reason why the lawyers want to talk to her about Salvatore's inheritance. But she can't come up with anything. 

Logan feels the tension in her body rise and says: "It will be alright Bonnie. I'm coming with you and so are your brothers. We can do this together."

She sits up and her eyes hold a serious look. "Logan? I know what I said last night, but... Can you promise me one thing? If it goes wrong... If you can't get through to me... If it really breaks me... Don't wait for me forever, okay? The thing I want most of all in this world, is for you to be happy." She tries to hold back her tears, but a few of them manage to escape her eyes and roll down her cheeks.

Logan sees the fear and despair in her eyes. He sits up and kisses the tears from her cheeks. "Bonnie. You can't ask that from me. I am never going to promise you that. You can forget about it. I will promise you that I will try to be happy. But not without you." She covers her face with her hands and starts to sob. He wraps his arms around her and kisses the top of her head. "I love you. Forever. No matter what."

There's a soft knock at the door and Logan gets up to open it. Scorpia clears her throat loudly. He looks at her and she tosses his boxers over to him. He chuckles and puts them on. He opens the door and finds Lexy there "Good morning sister."

"Morning brother. Is Scorpia awake too?" Logan steps aside and Lexy comes in. Scorpia wonders what she's doing here as Lexy lays clothing down on the bed. "Leather pants and black blouse. Your armor according to Bruno."

Scorpia jumps out of bed and kisses Lexy on both cheeks. "Thank you!"

Lexy stares at her naked sister-in-law and then stares at Logan's chest for a while. "Those tattoos are beautiful."

Scorpia puts her hand on her heart and Logan does the same. They look at each other and say: "Here. Forever."

Scorpia finds fresh underwear in the closet and puts it on. She puts on the leather pants and blouse and sits down at the edge of the bed. She sticks her feet in the stiletto boots with a smile on her lips. 

Lexy says softly: "She has an awe-full lot of confidence. I am not sure I would..."

Logan says: "She's in fight mode. I have seen her shower in the cafe on the day of the tournament. I ran out of the bedroom. At that moment she doesn't realize that she's naked and we can see her."

Lexy says: "I am going downstairs to drink some coffee and to keep on eye on Enzo. Lucas is at school. That was a bit of a drama this morning without..." She nods at Scorpia. "Anyway. Coffee. See you in a bit."

Logan tries to get dressed while keeping an eye on Scorpia. He grumbles while trying to button up his jeans and shirt. Scorpia turns to him and buttons his jeans. He looks down at her and has to admit she looks strong. She buttons up his shirt as well but doesn't look him in the eye. He whispers a thank you and watches her brush her teeth and apply some make-up.
