[83] Teamwork

Logan wakes up to one of the most beautiful sounds in the world; a giggling Leo. He hears water too and as he wakes up properly he realizes Scorpia is most likely in the bathtub with Leo. He gets out of bed and walks towards the bathroom. He peeks inside and finds Scorpia in the tub with Leo in her lap. She is beaming and Leo is splashing water around with his hands while making happy sounds.

Logan steps into the bathroom and Leo looks straight at him. Logan's heart skips a beat when he hears him yell: "Daddy!"

Scorpia looks at him with eyes full of love and says: "Well done Leo. Mommy is proud of you. Good morning daddy!"

Logan looks at both of them in love and says: "Good morning mommy and Leo. Is there room in the bath for daddy too?"

Scorpia nods and kisses Leo's hair. Logan gets into the bath too and Leo gets even wilder than he already was. Logan chuckles and Leo stretches his arms out towards him. Logan lifts Leo from Scorpia's arms and gasps when he sees her body.

The black and dark-purple bruises were hidden by Leo, but now that he's holding his son he can see them clearly. And it's impossible to hide them because there's only a little bit of water in the tub and no bubbles.

She doesn't even try to hide them and stretches out proudly. "Beautiful, aren't they? It's less painful than it looks by the way. Besides my cheekbone, cause that hurts pretty bad. Especially when I smile and with a little man like Leo it's impossible not to."

Leo distracts them both by splashing water everywhere and they laugh together, lost in the wonderful moment. Scorpia gets out of the bath to get Leo's bathrobe and wraps a towel around her body. Logan gets up with Leo in his arms and they work together to get Leo in his little robe. Scorpia holds Leo to her chest and inspects Logan's ribs.

He looks down at the slightly blue bruise too and says: "If I'm honest it's a lot more painful than it looks. And if you hadn't graced me with a break to catch my breath yesterday, you would have won."

Scorpia looks at him with a fire in her eyes and says: "It was a lot of fun Logan. I'll talk to Bruno today, to discuss the fight against Duane and to come up with a strategy."

Logan looks at her lust-filled eyes and says: "Yeah, it was a lot of fun. And hot..."

Scorpia bites her lip and says: "Mmm, yes that too my handsome Scot."

He walks over to her and kisses her slowly.

Scorpia kisses him back before smiling at him and asking: "Don't you have a cafe to open today?"

"Nope. Marco and Grazia are both working this morning."

They brush their teeth, while holding Leo on their arms and get dressed together. All three of them wearing jeans and a T-shirt. Scorpia sits down on the couch and hugs Leo to her chest.

Logan says: "Okay, daddy will get breakfast for you two. I'll be right back." He whistles as he descends the stairs and gets to work in the kitchen immediately.

He comes back with a tray full of goodies and puts it down on the coffee table. Leo waves his arms around because he clearly saw his bottle already.

Scorpia lays Leo in Logan's arms and hands him the bottle. She sits down next to them, resting her head on Logan's shoulder to look at their little miracle. Leo is drinking eagerly and grabs a hold of Logan's shirt. They watch him go tired with every next sip and he falls asleep before he can finish his bottle.

Logan pets his hair and says: "I understand little man. I get tired from bath time with mommy too." He chuckles and carries Leo over to his crib. He tucks him in lovingly and brings the baby monitor with him. He closes the door behind him and sits down next to Scorpia again.
