I walked down the hall dressed in my cafe uniform. Which consisted of a short, red plaid skirt, a black, button up shirt. My boss would make me unbutton it just to the point where I became uncomfortable and I would get cat called. I had a half apron I would put on once I got to work.
The cafe I worked at didn't pay great, but it was a job nevertheless. I live in a rundown apartment with a job that only affords the essentials. Living the dream life am I right?
Being pretty much broke on a daily basis means I can't afford a car. So I walked outside and made my way down the sidewalk to the cafe.
Then as I turned the corner some kid on a bicycle across the street had fallen and skinned his knee.
Ugh.
The sweet scent of blood traveled through the air. I inhaled the delicious scent of my favorite red liquid before shaking the thought out of my head and continued to walk down the sidewalk.
Being a vampire isn't always easy.
After I had gotten closer to the cafe, the scent of blood had reduced and I wasn't as tempted anymore.
I walked through the backdoor, and headed straight to the employees room and stuffed everything in my locker. I grabbed my apron and tied it behind my back. I grabbed a couple of pens and my notepad and left the room.
I didn't hate waitressing, just the perverted males, cat calling me and asking for my number on a daily basis kinda ruined it for me.
I went to walk to my first table, my boss, Gabe, called me over. I reluctantly walked over and stared at him annoyed.
"What am I going to say?" He asked, rhetorically. I stared at him for another minute before giving in and unbuttoning my shirt farther down. Just above my bra, giving my shirt a deep v-neck. He did this to all the other employees but especially pushed it with me.
"This is why your my favorite employee Quinn." He shouted, as I walked back over towards my table. I brought the cafe a lot of attention just because of my looks. Male attention I may add.
