The two of you walked up to the professors table, not knowing what to expect. The majority of the other professors were already there; Flitwick, Hooch, Hagrid, Sprout, Snape, McGonagall, Dumbledore, even Trelawney was there, to your surprise. Finding a seat near the end of the table, you looked down at Severus, Minerva, and Albus. They were still talking hurriedly and in hushed tones.

You wondered what was so important that they had to talk quietly. Remus sat in the empty seat next to you, filling up the last of the chairs available. Before you could speak to Remus again, Albus excused himself from Minerva and Severus and stood to address the congregation of students.

"Ehh em... before we get started with lunch, I would like to make an announcement..."

Everyone went quiet and looked at him.

"There will need to be extra precautions put in place around Hogwarts. It seems that You-Know-Who has been sighted not too far from here..."

The students looked at one another, fear apparent on their faces.

"Now, we will begin by everyone having a friend with them at all times. It will be best if no one is left alone. Also, there will be no outdoor activities held without the supervision of a professor. I'm sure we will all be safe as long as we follow these rules. Enjoy your meal!"

The uproar of conversations started again immediately.

You looked down the table at Severus, who was also looking at you with a worried expression on his face. Remembering what your father had told you about a great evil that would try to destroy everything, you wondered if this is what he meant by you being the one to destroy it.

"That's not good. I wouldn't want to meet You-Know-Who if I didn't have to, what say you f/n?" Remus asked you.

"Agreed, though I'm not afraid of facing him if it comes to it."

"Well, you're braver than I am then!" Remus chuckled.

You looked down at your plate, your favorite food was sitting before you. You ate in a rushed manner, wanting to speak to Severus before he had to teach his next class.

"Can I ask you something sort of personal?" Remus spoke around a piece of pie in his mouth.

"Sure, but weren't you ever taught to not talk with your mouthful?" You said gruffly.

"Right..." he swallowed.

"Are you and Severus, um... exclusive?"

You looked at him, a bit surprised. You weren't expecting him to ask that personal of a question. Especially since you had just met, but you humoured him.

"Yes, I suppose. Is there any reason why you're wondering?"

"No, ma'am. Just curious is all." He smiled at you.

You looked back at Severus, he was getting up and preparing to leave the hall. Standing, you excused yourself from Remus and tried to catch up with him.

As he was rounding a corner, you called for him.

"Severus! Wait up!"

He turned around and waited for you to reach him.

"F/n, shouldn't you be grading papers or something?" He said somewhat harshly.

Taken aback by his sudden cold demeanor, you took a step back.

"Well, yes, but I wanted to talk to you first?! Is something wrong? You were looking at me concerned whilst Albus was speaking of the recent turn of events."

His gaze seemed detached, it sent shivers up your spine.

"Yes, well I suppose you could always talk to your new friend, Remus. The two of you were quite friendly with each other during lunch..."

Realizing what was going on, you crossed your arms angrily.

"Severus, you know it's not like that. I was only being nice. Don't be jealous!"

His brow furrowed.

"I'm not being jealous, I'm only telling you what I saw. Is there anything else I can assist you with Miss l/n?"

You couldn't believe the way he was acting! You were only being polite and courteous to Remus because you had just met him. And yet, Severus was acting like you were flirting with him the entire lunch period!

"No! And for your information, I told Remus that you and I were exclusive!! But that doesn't seem to matter now, does it?" You said hotly.

Turning on your heel, you marched off towards your class room. Severus looked on, mouth slightly open, as you stormed away from him. He then frowned and headed in the opposite direction.

Grumbling to yourself, you rounded the corner, running into someone.

How come I'm always running into people?!

"Excuse me, my fault."

It was Remus.

"Oh, hello Remus. Sorry, I should've been paying more attention."

He looked at you, sensing something was wrong.

"Is everything alright, Miss l/n? You seem flustered."

"It's nothing, except Severus thinks the two of us were flirting during lunch." You replied, rolling your eyes.

"Flirting? Hardly. If I was flirting you would have definately known it." He laughed.

"Precisely what I tried to tell Severus, but he wouldn't listen. So now we aren't speaking."

Remus scratched his chin and thought for a moment.

"Well, if it would get your mind off of things, we could always go back to the classroom and play some gobstones?"

"I guess, it's not much use trying to reason with Severus when he's upset. Let's go." You sighed.

The two of you continued to the DADA classroom in silence. You radiated anger and hostility. Students would look at you and evert their gazes immediately not wanting to be caught in the middle of your wrath. The only person not seeming to be effected by it was Remus.

By the time you had reached your classroom your anger had begun to boil over.

You slammed the door shut behind the two of you and stomped towards your desk. You were looking at some posters on the wall whilst Remus approached the desk cautiously.

"F/n... are you sur-..."

"AAARRGH!!!" You yelled furiously, hitting the wall.

The wall crumbled a bit under your blow.

Turning around to look at the man behind you, you noticed he had backed up a little and was looking at you wide-eyed and with his hands held up in a defensive posture.

"F/n... I think you need to sit down." He waved at your chair, not taking his gaze away from you.

You stepped forward to sit, but he took a step back.

"What?! Are you upset with me too? Can I not ever get a break?!" You yelled at him.

He looked down for a moment before answering.

"I'm not upset... you should just.. Er. Look at yourself in the mirror."

You stared at him for a second before going over to the mirror on the wall near your desk.
When you looked at your reflection you took a step back, not recognising the being before you.
