Before you stood a reflection with gleaming amber eyes and fangs. Around your eye sockets were dark veins that sprouted everywhere and traveled throughout your face. When you looked at your hands you noticed your fingernails were replaced with sharp claws. Looking back up, you realized your ears had become pointed as well.

"What the bloody hell..." you gasped.

You swung back around to look at Remus, who was watching you carefully.

"I don't understand. Why do I look like this?!"

"I don't know, Miss l/n."

You turned to look at yourself again in the mirror, moving your head from side to side.

A thought popped into your head.

"That BITCH!" You yelled.

"I beg your pardon?" Remus asked you with a confused expression on his face.

"Umbridge! This has to be her fault! Even in the grave, she has to try and destroy my life!" You growled.

As your anger rose, your eyes glowed brighter. Eventually, they began to look like flames were flickering in them.

"I don't seem to be following you, f/n?"

You forgot that Remus had not been around whilst Umbridge was trying to use you to bring back Voldemort, so you explained.

"Dolores Umbridge was trying to use me to bring back You-Know-Who. For some reason, she thought that my life force was strong enough to help him regain strength. She chained me up, electrocuted me, and injected me with something. That's why I was in the medical wing, I was recovering from the injuries I had sustained from her torture."

"But... I had heard that they brought a wolf from a hidden room that had severe injuries... it doesn't ma-.... oh! The wolf was you, wasn't it?"

You turned back to look at him.

"Yes. It was me. I'm apparently an animagi, though I'm not sure that's exactly what I am. But this..." you waved at yourself.

"This must be from what Umbridge injected into me. Why else would this be happening?"

Remus just stood and gazed at you for a few moments, processing everything he had just heard.

"That makes sense... but.. what did she inject you with that could make you turn into this?" He asked.

"I don't know..."

As you gazed at the man before you, your anger began to fade. You were finally at peace with everything that had happened. It felt nice to tell someone else about what went on, it was like a small portion of this burden had been lifted off of your shoulders. Even the thought of Severus being angry at you for speaking so kindly to Remus was nothing but a distant blur.

When you turned to look at yourself one last time, you saw that your reflection was no longer animalistic. Your eyes were back to normal and your ears and teeth looked like they usually do.

You let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank god. I don't know how I'd feel if I had to go around like that for any longer. Did I look like that on our way here?"

"No. You looked like you usually do..."

"Oh, good. I was going to say, no wonder the students looked so frightened of me!" You laughed.

"What about that game of gobstones? We can figure out the details of the rest of the story later."

Remus smiled at you, placing his hand in his pocket.

"As you wish, madam. But, I must inform you, I'm a very good player." He smirked.

"We'll see about that." You laughed at him.
