Before the chapter starts, I wanted to ask you guys something. Zoey and Blake's main story is coming to an end soon and I have two stories that do line-up with Zoey and Blake's lives, but have different plots and main characters. Would you guys rather see their child(or children) first or Wilder and his story? I'll end up publishing both eventually but which one would you guys rather see first. Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

Blake POV

"It's a pleasure to see you again Blake," Wilder says as he reaches out to shake my hand.

I shake his hand and sit down in the chair across from him at his desk. He takes his seat once again and hands me his most recent file about Darren. Recently, Lucy hasn't been spotted. I suspect it's because she's heavily pregnant at this point, maybe around 7 months.

"How's your side of the investigation going?" I ask.

"Nothing more than just the occasional time I see him in a car or the same store as before. Honestly, he's being careful while still showing us he's alive."

"Dam it!"

I slam my hand on to the table, rattling the little things on the desk. I probably look so defeated and weak as I feel tears start rolling down my cheeks. This is just so much stress all at once. I have to find my pregnant fiance, plan a wedding since I can't explain to my family why we have to put that on hold without exposing everything, and run a gang.

My heart aches every day I'm without her, every time I think about how she's slowly getting further along in her pregnancy and I'm not there to see it happen. That's if she's even still pregnant. Darren could've found out and tried to kill the baby. I wouldn't be surprised if he did. I put my head into my hands while muttering 'no'.  I wish that isn't what happened.

Wilder reaches over and puts his hand on my shoulder. I look up and he looks so sincere, as if he understands my pain. He wordlessly tells me it'll be okay and I take a deep breath. It'll be okay.

"When was the last time you slept?" Wilder asks.

"A few days ago maybe, I can't remember," I reply.

"There's a guest bedroom to the right of my office. Go take a nap before we continue talking."

Normally, I would argue but the idea of a nap sounds so good right now. I nod and get up to leave. Opening and shutting the door as I go, I found the door that leads to a spacious and bright room. It feels cold and unlived in but so peaceful. It doesn't feel haunting like my room does now. I close the curtains, get underneath the covers and almost instantly, fall asleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hear distorted shouts and screams around me. Everything is pitch black and the floor feels like it's shaking. I try to move but I'm paralyzed; I can't move from my spot. I struggle against my constraints and plead for anyone to help me but my voice doesn't work. I feel heat start to come towards me as my skin starts to feel like it's melting.
My skin burns the more I try to move. Bright flashes of light crowd around me. I feel the air being sucked out of my lungs and my heart stopping. I hear whispers of nonsense. I try yelling to myself to wake up; I know this has to be a dream. I start to hear laughing the slowly gets louder and louder.
The room becomes smaller and smaller until I feel like I'm trapped in a box. I feel my fingers start to tingle and finally, I pinch myself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm hyperventilating when I wake up. I don't know what the hell that was but it's better than usual. Since Zoey was kidnapped the first time, I've had nightmares where something horrible is happening to her or she's ripped from me again. I'll have dreams where I end up married to some other girl and Zoey isn't in my life. Dreams like that have surrounded me and sometimes, I can't close my eyes without seeing them.

I calm my breathing and get up to make the bed. I check my phone and there's no texts, no calls, and just a few emails from my newest allies. I answer them as they are just quick questions about our next meeting to discuss business before going back to Wilder's office. He's reading through some forms, still in the same spot that I left him in.

"How long was I asleep for?" I ask.

He looks and then checks his phone before answering, "A few hours at most. Not too long I would say. A girl named Layla did drop off a letter for you though with a special someone's name on it."

I give him a curious look and all he does is roll his eyes and point to a letter on the chair across from him. It has to address of the safehouse on it and my name on it. It doesn't have an aged and yellow look like Darren's letters and he never mails them so I carefully open it. At first glance, it's just an ordinary letter that would normally be delivered to the warehouse or to my parents' house.

As I start reading, I realize it's otherwise. I gasp, tear up a bit, and start cheering quietly. I'm just having a roller coaster of emotions as I read; I'm in disbelief that this is real.

Dear Blake,
I've managed to send you this one letter that will, hopefully, help you find where I am. I've written the address of where Darren is keeping me on the back of the envelope as well as at the bottom of this paper. I miss and love you so much and hope that you find me soon. Our baby is fine, as I assume you found the pregnancy test. I haven't felt any signs of a miscarriage yet. Please, find me soon.
Love,
Zoey

"What's with you dude?" Wilder asks.

I shove the letter into his hand and begins to read. His face slowly becomes more and more excited. He hands me back the letter and starts calling his second in command, Ricky.

"I need you to prepare everyone for a take down...Darren Louis...Thank you Rick."

I pull out my phone and call Joey so he can also prepare everyone to take Down Darren Louis. He starts cheering and it takes him a minute or two to call down before I hear him start yelling at everyone to get ready. I hang up(it seems he forgot) and go outside to my car.

Just hold on my love, I'll be there soon.
