04 - Rejection.

Taehyung was waiting by the fence next day. After how Jungkook took the food from him and from the way he spoke with him, Taehyung gained a bit of confidence to talk with him. So no more looking through the window and he's gonna say good morning to Jungkook.

Taehyung had to wait for a about 15 minutes for Jungkook to come out. He anyway came there bit early as he didn't want to miss Jungkook but Jungkook seems to be running bit late too.

Finaly he saw the door opening and Jungkook came out. Taehyung reached over from the fence eagerly.

"Good morning Jungkook." Taehyung said in a bright tone. He gave a big smile but it faded quickly once he saw Jungkook's expression. It was as cold as that first encounter. If not colder.

"What's your problem? Why are you bothering me like this?" Jungkook growled in anger.

"W-what?" Taehyung was so shocked and scared of the anger that was radiating from the other that he couldn't even form a sentence to say.

"Stop being such a nuisance. Don't ever speak to me again. I would rather not see your face ever again but I know it's gonna be hard. But the least you can do is to leave me alone!!"

Jungkook quickly got on to his bike and went away. Taehyung tried to stop the tears but it was useless. He was so heartbroken and ran straight to his room, ignoring his brother's call.

He dialled his best friend's number and Jimin answered after few rings.

"J-jiminie.." Taehyung whispered to the phone as loud sobs were escaping from his mouth.

"Tae.. oh my God, what happened?" Jimin asked in concern.

"C-can you come h-here Mini?" Taehyung cried again.

"I'll come right now Tae. Please don't cry bub. I'll be there soon. Just stay put ok. Don't cry." Jimin cut the line and immediately put on some clothes and went out to his friend's house.

Jungkook stopped the bike when he put enough distance between them. He actually saw Taehyung near the fence, eagerly waiting till he come out. Jungkook almost didn't come out from the house as he didn't want to hurt the boy.

But it's better for him to stop this before it's too late. Sure there will be a pain but the earlier he break things off the better it'll be for Taehyung. Or so he thought.

But Jungkook was not ready to see the pain and hurt that was in Taehyung's eyes. And also fear. Taehyung was scared of him. He's scared of him and Jungkook hope to God that it'll be enough to keep the boy away from him. Because Jungkook doesn't want to hurt him again.

But he will. If that's the way to keep him from getting hurt, then that's what Jungkook will do.

"I d-don't know w-what to do Jimin. One m-moment he talks with me normally and next h-he's yelling at m-me. W-what d-did I ever do to him?? What did I ever do to him that he h-hates me this much." Taehyung was crying so hard.

Jimin tried to calm the boy in his arms but it was really difficult. Taehyung was crying so much that his body was getting exhausted.

"Shhh... don't cry bub. Pleas don't cry."

"It h-hurts s-so much Jiminie, please make it stop."

"Only you can make it stop Tae. Just forget about that bas****. You have so many people who love you. Please stop crying Tae.."

"Jiminie...Jiminie..."

Taehyung cried till he was exhausted and fell asleep in Jimin's arms. He placed the fragile boy on the bed and pulled the cover up before going out of the room.

To his suprise, he saw Jin standing outside Taehyung's door with a pained expression on his face.

"Is he sleeping?" Jin asked in a worried voice.

"Uhh... yes, Jin hyung." Jimin replied.

"Did you have breakfast yet?" Jin asked and Jimin shock his head.

"Come on, let's have breakfast." Jin slowly went to the dining room and Jimin followed the elder.

"Tae was so happy yesterday." Jin said suddenly. "I made some food for that Jungkook and Tae went to give that. He was smiling so brightly when he came back. Said Jungkook smiled at him. I don't know what happened this morning." Jin said with a sigh.

"He said that Jungkook was angry with him asked him to stay away from him." Jimin said angrily. "You know what hyung, I'm gonna go and ask what's his problem. He can't treat our Tae like that."

"You can't do that Jimin. It's not his fault that he doesn't feel the same way about our Tae. We can't make Jungkook accept Tae's feeling. It's his choice." Jin said in a defeated tone.

"I know that. But he doesn't have to be so rude about it. And I want to know why he can't accept Tae's feelings too."

Jungkook was working on an computer when he heard Taehyung's friend's voice.

"Hey Gyeomie, is Jungkook here? I want to speak with him."

"Yeah he's here. Is this about your laptop? I didn't know it was this urgent."

"It's not about the fu***** laptop. Now would you please call him?"

Jungkook couldn't wait anymore and walked out to the front of the shop.

"What do you want?" Jungkook asked in the coldest voice he could muster.

"Come out." Jimin says angrily and walks out without getting a reply.

Jungkook quickly follows him after giving a curt nod to shocked Yugyeom.

Jimin gets in his face as soon as he walks out.

"What the hell is your problem dude? Why are you hurting my friend?"Jimin spats angrily.

"I didn't do anything. I don't like the way he attaches himself to me so I told him to leave me alone." Jungkook replied defensively.

"Look dude, I get it. You don't like Tae. You have no freaking idea about what you are losing but it's also your choice so whatever. But that doesn't mean you can hurt him and make him cry."

"He's c-crying??"

"So now you suddenly care!! Look dude, I've known Taehyung since we were in diapers and I have never seen him this upset. Whatever your reasons are, you are an ass****." Jimin says with a look of disgust.

"Well I don't want to hurt anyone too but I don't have a choice. I'm not someone who can afford to have attachments. Tell your friend to stay away from me. He doesn't need to get his good life tangled with my hell. And if you really care about your friend, you'll stop him before he gets really hurt." Jungkook goes back in to the shop, leaving Jimin utterly confused.

What the hell was that about??

April 22nd.

Oh Yoona, everything is getting messed up. I knew he must be crying when I yelled at him in the morning but it really hurt when I heard it from his friend. Jimin yelled my head off for making his friend sad. Buy I don't have a choice right. He's hundred times better off without me. I'm just bad news. I'm glad he has such good friends to take care of him. They will look after him. I wish I had such friends too. But you were my only friend. And you left me all alone. Now I'll just suffer in my hell, alone, for all eternity. That's ok. As long as no one else gets hurt. As long as he's safe.
