Sehun gave a chuckle at Jungkook's defensive pose and raised his arms in a surrendering manner.
"Relax, I mean no harm." He looked straight at Jungkook, conveying the sincerity of his words and Jungkook visibly relaxed.
"How are you two?" Sehun asked after a little pause. "How's his head?"
"We are fine. What happened to his head by the way, we didn't know." Jungkook asked, curious despite the situation.
"One of the guys pushed him and he hit his head on the chair. That's when he passed out. You were already unconscious." Sehun said without any emotions, as if he was talking about the weather.
Jungkook felt Taehyung's hand clutching his shirt tightly and he sneaked a hand behind him to hold the younger boy against his body.
"Thank you for helping us. Hyung said that you called him and gave the location." Jungkook said as he looked at Sehun.
Sehun gave a nod but didn't speak for few seconds. "Yoona was like a sister to me. We grew up together."
"I know. Yoona told me about you too."
"I figured she might have. I noticed that you recognised my name the other day."
"Yeah."
"Sunghoon told us that you killed her and ran away with the money. I was outside the house the day she died. That is my biggest regret, not being there the moment she needed me most." Sehun paused a moment, regret was very clearly in his eyes.
"You had no idea how much I hated you. If I had found you before Sunghoon did, you would have been dead right away. I do not play with my food. Good thing that Sunghoon was such a sick bastard."
Jungkook gave a low chuckle at that. What Sunghoon put him and Taehyung through is really a work of a psychopath.
"Would you like to know what really happened?" Jungkook asked tentatively and Sehun nodded his head.
Once Jungkook was finished with the story, Sehun looked angry and sad.
"I didn't knew about the deal with Wooyoung. Why didn't she came to me?!!"
"Maybe she didn't want to because you were part of that world. She trusted Soobin.
"Ahhh... that boy." Sehun ran a hand through his hair and looked at Jungkook. "We got to him few months before we found you. He's... dead. That brother of his too."
"N-no" Jungkook whispered in horror. He always hoped the boy to be safe.
"Yeah. He didn't knew where you were and Sunghoon didn't like that very much. It wasn't... pretty."
There was a silence as Jungkook cried in his heart for his friend and his once saviour. Taehyung back hugged him in support.
"Well I should go now. You'll not be encountering any trouble from our side anymore. Nor will that brother of yours. Sunghoon was not much respected or loved in our world. I doubt anyone will feel the urge to revenge his death."
Sehun turned around to walk off but stopped after few steps and turned to look at Taehyung this time.
"I...uh... heard what you said. Thank you for the respect you showed her. I'm sure she's glad that you are the one who took her place."
With that, Sehun walked out of their lives, hopefully for the last time.
Jungkook held out his hand for Taehyung to hold and together, they walked out of the graveyard.
Once they were inside a taxi, Jungkook pulled Taehyung to his side, sneaking a hand around his waist.
"How are you holding up baby?" Jungkook whispered in to Taehyung's ear.
"Good, I guess. I feel relieved, you know. Like I can finally put this behind me. We can finally move forward." Taehyung said in a soft voice.
"Yeah, we can. And we will baby. I'm ready to start my future with you." Jungkook said as his heart overfilled with emotions. Taehyung however, gave a little chuckle.
"Is that a proposal Kookie??" Taehyung asked in a teasing voice. "Cause you know, I'm only 20 and way too young to get married."
Jungkook laughed loudly at that. A relaxed, straight from the heart, happy laugh. He laughed for a good while before looking at Taehyung with an adorable bunny smile.
'There you go Yoona, first of many, just as I promised' Taehyung thought to himself as his heart swelled with pride.
"I know, God!! You are still a child in many ways. But we'll get there baby. It's you and me forever from now on." Jungkook said, a promise written clearly in his eyes as he looked at Taehyung with love.
Forever with Jungkook....hell yeah, Taehyung can certainly live with that.
______________________________________
Taehyung and Jungkook got married after about 4 years. The younger was not yet matured to a sufficient level but everyone agreed that he's never gonna get there.Taehyung will always have his childish ways and being in a relationship or married is not going to change that. And it certainly wouldn't, when his boyfriend or rather husband now, keeps adoring and pampering him like a 12 year old.
Jungkook practically worshipped the ground Taehyung walked on, catering to his every wish and need. He lived for the happiness and satisfaction of the younger. Taehyung only had to ask for the moon and Jungkook would have given it to him on a silver platter.
But both of them were tired of waiting so they decided, to hell with maturity, let's get married.
They had a rather large ceremony, practically the entire village was present there. As Hoseok explained to a frustrated Jungkook, that's how things happen in small towns, everyone knows everyone.
Jungkook was never a fan of big celebrations but he would not even dream of denying anything that Taehyung wants so a big wedding it was.
Atleast he had the proposal the way he wanted, a romantic setup in their secret location at the lake. The whole thing was planned with the help of Jimin and to say that Taehyung was suprised, is an understatement.
The younger had burst in to tears as soon as Jungkook popped the question and was crying for a long time. So long that Jungkook began to wonder whether he will have to wait till the next day to hear the answer.
Not that it mattered, he knew Taehyung was gonna say yes. They were practically living together at that time. Jin had kicked Taehyung out of the house after he attempted to sneak in around 3.00 am, 4days in a row. But it felt nice to do things the proper way.
Taehyung calmed down enough to let out a simple 'yes' before breaking down again but that was more than enough for Jungkook. They celebrated being engaged in a very special way, skinny dipping.
And ofcause, the most natural thing followed after. They rediscovered each other's bodies in broad daylight, in a very public and inappropriate way. Luckily for them, no one was around.
Jin and Namjoon has adopted two children after Taehyung got married and they were the fluffiest furballs you would ever see. Taehyung and Jungkook talked about kids and realised that neither of them are that keen on the subject.
Maybe they might consider it somewhere down the line but for now, all they wanted was each other. They weren't ready to share one another with someone else, not yet anyway. And that's all there was to say about that.
Jungkook and Taehyung has not encountered any trouble related to Jungkook's past and the future seemingly held no threat too. Both of them, and their family and friends around them, were contented with their lives.
They lived in a sort of a bubble, a little isolated from rest of the world. They were happy and that's all that mattered.
