40 - Can I Please Have Him Now?

Few months passed from the attack and everything slowly turned back to normal. Jungkook was still working at the tech shop but he also plans to run an online technical support and security consultation business where he can advice companies from the comfort of his home.

He could have a gotten a job at any big company with his degree now but he liked the country life with Taehyung too much to change. Kim brothers knew exactly what Namjoon and Jungkook had given up for them and they felt very special.

Jungkook and Taehyung was at Jungkook's home, just relaxing when Taehyung decided to ask something that he's been thinking about for sometime now.

"Kookie.."

"Hmm..."

"Have you ever.. uhh... visited Yoona's grave? Do you know where it is?" Taehyung asked tentatively.

Jungkook was lost in thoughts for few seconds and then answered.

"I've never had the chance to go there but I know where it is. Soobin told me."

"Do you think maybe we could... you know... go there and... uhh... pay our respects or something?"

Taehyung looked so nervous and uncomfortable, it made Jungkook gave a small smile.

"Do you want to go?" Jungkook asked as he held Taehyung's gaze to see his reaction.

"Y-yeah.. I would love that. Only if you  want it too."

Jungkook pulled the younger one in to his lap and gently stroked his back.

"Ok. We can go tomorrow even, if you want. I've been meaning to go there for a while now, you know, after that whole fiasco ended. But I... uhh... wasn't sure how y-you would feel about that." Jungkook said the last part in a whisper.

Taehyung turned around to look at him straight in the eye, his expression was unreadable.

"Did you honestly think that low of me? That I would be mad and not even let you say goodbye?" Taehyung asked in a small voice, his voice betraying the pain he felt.

Jungkook sighed and tightened his hold even more. "Ofcause not baby, that's not what I meant. I thought you might feel bad for her. Her story is really tragic. I just didn't want to remind you anything from that past. After all that you went through, I don't want to see you get sad anymore. " Jungkook explained gently.

"I can't forget her Kookie. I will never forget her. She loved you and I can't even imagine what she must have felt like when she made all those plans to protect you. I'm forever grateful to her. A-and there's s-something I have to ask from her." Taehyung hid his face in Jungkook's chest at the last part. The elder felt curious at that but didn't say anything.

The ride to Seoul took few hours. They left early morning so that they can come back on the same day. Jin was very reluctant to let them go alone but eventually agreed.

Yoona's grave was a fancy one, believed to be fit for a queen of a multi company empire. But Jungkook knew better. Although she liked all that wealth and power, deep down in her heart, she was a simple girl, who just wanted to be loved. Who's biggest dream was to marry the man she loved, have his kids and grow all together.

They laid the bouquet of flowers that they brought and Taehyung then walked off a bit to let Jungkook say his goodbyes first. This was their moment and Taehyung didn't want to intrude on that. He stood a little far away, far enough to not hear what Jungkook is saying but still within the eyesight of the elder.

Taehyung watched as Jungkook talk and talk, finally breaking down and crying on his knees. His heart ached to hold and comfort Jungkook but he knew that this is something that Jungkook has to go through on his own. He will emerge stronger at the end of it.

It took a while for Jungkook to calm down and Taehyung patiently waited for him. Taehyung slowly walked to Jungkook and the elder pulled him in to a tight hug.

"T-thank you." Jungkook whispered against Taehyung's hair and that was all there was to say.

They stayed in each other's embrace for quite a while before Jungkook slowly pulled out.

"Didn't you say you have something to ask? Do you want me to give you some privacy?" Jungkook asked as he put a strand of hair behind Taehyung's ear.

"N-no, you can stay." Taehyung seemed nervous and Jungkook gave a reassuring nod. He took a step back, letting Taehyung have some space but kept his hand on younger's back for support.

Taehyung took a moment to gather his thoughts before speaking up.

"Hello Yoona. I know Jungkook introduced me to you when we first met but let me introduce myself aging. I'm Kim Taehyung, Jungkook's b-boyfriend."

Taehyung's voice shock a bit at the end and Jungkook slowly moved his hand along Taehyung's back a bit to calm him.

"I just want to say thank you for protecting Jungkook. You made sure he survived, even if you perished one day. I'm so sorry for what happened to you, from what I heard from Kookie, you are a great person and doesn't deserve what you got. I hope you are in a better place now, filled with all the love you deserve."

"I r-read the letter you left for Jungkook, I hope you won't mind. I understand how much you loved him. You also gave him enough courage and strength so that he can pull himself out of the darkness. You were his light when he couldn't see the way himself."

"Others will wonder if a person can love someone this much but I know it's possible. Because I love him just as much. I love him so much that I can lay my life for him. I can do anything for him."

"I know I'm not capable of protecting him like you did, I'm not a powerful person like you. If anything, he will end up protecting me from the world. But I promise you, I will love and cherish him for the rest of my life."

"You told him to find someone who will love him and be happy. Is it really ok for us to do that? I promise I'll make him happy, each and every day of his life. I'll m-make him have his adorable bunny smile every day, it'll be for me and for you also."

"I fell in love with him at first sight and I think he did too, although he pretended otherwise for a while. He means the world to me. So what I want to ask from is that, C-can I please have him now?"

Taehyung felt the tears running down on his cheeks as he said everything he had to say. After few seconds of silence, Jungkook gently wrapped his arms around Taehyung and hugged him from behind.

"Ofcause baby, you can have me. I'm all yours." Jungkook said as he rest his head on Taehyung's shoulder. They stayed like that for a while before Jungkook looked up again and spoke.

"Goodbye Yoona."

Taehyung and Jungkook turned around to walk out of the graveyard but someone was standing in front of them.

"Sehun!" Jungkook whispered as he gently pushed Taehyung behind him protectively and looked at the man standing in their way.
