22 - Happy Birthday To Me.

"Happy birthday baby!!"

Jin hugged his baby brother as he came for breakfast. "I made your favourite pancakes."

"Thanks hyung. But I'm not a baby anymore. Finally!!" Taehyung replied with a smile.

"Happy birthday Tae." Namjoon also gave him a hug. "You maybe 20 now. But you will always be our baby."

Taehyung gave a shy smile at that. Yes, he will always be their baby. No matter how old he gets.

He was really excited today. He is meeting Jimin in the morning and rest of the hyungs in the evening as they are going for dinner.

Jimin and Taehyung has a tradition for birthdays that they had kept for a long time. They spend the day in a picnic by the little stream and the person who isn't the birthday boy will be bringing the food.

Jimin didn't break this when he started going out with Yoongi and Taehyung certainly doesn't want to break it either. Taehyung explained it to Jungkook and he assured that it's totally ok with him.

Taehyung went to Jungkook's house after breakfast and was greeted by a very enthusiastic Jungkook. They shared few innocent kisses and Jungkook said that he will give the birthday gift tonight after dinner.

Jungkook didn't actually say what but Taehyung already knew what it was. There's only one thing that he has requested from Jungkook that he didn't get yet. And tonight, he's sure that his boyfriend will give him exactly what he wants.

Taehyung went back to his house after a little while and waited for Jimin to come to go for their picnic. Jungkook said that he will be going to work, but he's not going actually. He has a suprise to arrange for his boyfriend.

Taehyung and Jimin came back in the afternoon and saw Jungkook's bike. But Taehyung didn't go to check as he was bit tired and wanted have a rest before dinner.

Jin was in the living room when Taehyung came home.

"Hi Tae bear, how was the picnic?" Jin asked as the younger sat on the sofa next to him.

"It was good. Auntie's food was great and we had a swim too. See, Jimin got me this pretty watch." Taehyung replied as he showed the new watch to his hyung.

"That's pretty. I thought it was from Jungkook. So what did he brought you?"

"Uhhhh...  nothing. Yet." Taehyung said, slightly blushing.

"Oh." Jin was suprised with the reaction. "Do you know what he's gonna give or is it a suprise?"

"Well, he says it's a suprise but I can kind of guess." Taehyung said with a shy smile.

Jin coughed a little and turned away. Yes, he can certainly guess what it is too.

"Uhhh... so I uhhh... hope everything will be ok today." Jin muttered looking quite uncomfortable himself.

"Yeah, I hope that I will not be coming home after dinner today." Taehyung said looking down a bit. He was equally embarrassed and nervous.

Jin could sense the nervousness of his baby brother. But he trusted Jungkook and he was sure everything will workout anyway.

"Well, I'll be very disappointed in Jungkook if you came home today." Jin said in an attempt to lighten up the mood and it worked as Taehyung gave a shy chuckle.

Jin knows that Jungkook has already planned a suprise for Taehyung. After all, he helped younger with the cake as Jungkook didn't had a oven at his place.

Jin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin and Jungkook were the attendees for Taehyung's birthday party. They had a lovely time at the dinner and dancing.

No one would believe that Taehyung and Jimin are adults as their behaviour is definitely of a child. Jungkook felt so happy looking at them goofing around.

Jungkook hasn't belonged to a family in a long time so the concept was somewhat foreign for him. He was alone most of his life and the time spent with Yoona was anything but normal.

He looked around at this close knitted family and friends, who will surely have each other's back through thick and thin. By some miracle, they considered him to be a part of it too. And there isn't anywhere else he would rather be. He just hopes that the dark shadows of his past doesn't reach his family here.

After dinner, everyone went home. After giving a small nod to Taehyung, Jin went home with Namjoon, leaving Taehyung to come with Jungkook.

Taehyung and Jungkook went by the bike, riding really slow. When they got home, Jungkook asked the younger to wait for few minutes in the living room and suprised him with a cake. He sang happy birthday again and both of them dig in to the cake.

"Mmmm Kookie this is so tasty? Where did you learn to make cake like this?" Taehyung asked as he eat another mouthful, eyes closed in happiness.

Jungkook didn't answer right away which made Taehyung snap his eyes open to look at him.

"Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry." Taehyung said looking down a bit.

"No no. It's not that. I just didn't want to ruin the mood." Jungkook said warily. "They had baking sessions every other weekends at the... uhhh...orphanage I was in."

Jungkook was looking at Taehyung reaction and the younger just put his fork down

"O-orphanage..?" Taehyung whispered and Jungkook could see his lips trembling and his eyes getting a glossy shine

Jungkook put his own fork down and pulled the younger on to his lap.

"Ohhh...don't be sad for me baby. It was a good place. I was happy there." Jungkook said as he rubbed his hand on Taehyung's back in a soothing manner.

"Oh Kookie!!" Taehyung's voice sounded thick as he was trying really hard not to cry.

"Hey, today's a happy day. Let's think only about happy thoughts baby." Jungkook said with a little chuckle.

They stayed like that for a little while before Jungkook felt Taehyung moving a bit. The little change in their position made Taehyung's breath fan over Jungkook's neck, making Jungkook heart race a little faster.

Jungkook turned his head so that his lips were near Taehyung's ear.

"So...I was just wondering, would you like to have your birthday gift now?" Jungkook whispered and immediately felt Taehyung stiffened in his arms.

"Only if you are ready Tae." Jungkook whispered again, as he didn't want to do anything that the younger was uncomfortable with. "It's ok to wait."

Taehyung just wrapped his hands around Jungkook's neck tightly and whispered in to his ear. "Bedroom."

Jungkook hooked one hand under Taehyung's knees and got up, holding Taehyung close to his body. They both felt the excitement grow As Jungkook carried Taehyung to his bedroom in bridal style.
