Webby's screaming was music to B.O.Y.D's ears. He watched eagerly as the burn from her back began to spread all over her body making her white feathers melt off like wax.
"PLEASE! LET ME GO!" Webby wailed in between screaming.
B.O.Y.D held onto her for a moment or two longer before he dropped her to the floor. Webby hit it with a loud thud and; ignoring the pain from the burns, started to crawl away from B.O.Y.D on her stomach. But B.O.Y.D grabbed hold on her left ankle and pulled her closer to him. He also fell to the floor and with a lot of struggle from the girl sat Webby on his lap with her back to him.
"Now," He whispered in her ear as she continued to struggle. He held onto her wrists in front of her while using his legs and wrapped them around her torso so she wouldn't wiggle out of his arms. Webby felt the heat from them, not as hot as before, but slowly rising up to it. She started to tremble. "where is it?" He asked.
"I, I don't know what you are talking about." Webby choked out. Her voice was horse from screaming so long, and her burns stung so much that she could barely move without feeling the pain from the burns.
"Really?" B.O.Y.D asked, like she didn't believe her. "Funny," He said, as he pressed started kissing her neck. Webby squeezed her eyes shut, wishing she'd just crawl and never come out. "Dewey said you did."
Webby stopped struggling.
"D,Dewey?" She asked.
B.O.Y.D hummed as he moved across her neck, making Webby cringe. She hated this. Hated that she couldn't do anything but wait this out until something, or someone came along that she could work with...
"Yes, Dewford said you had it. You do. Right?" He breathed, Webby's heart pounded hard against her chest as B.O.Y.D moved one hand, and while keeping both her wrists in one, started to move the other along her collar bone, he paused at the hem of her shirt.
Webby didn't like where this was going. She had a sneaky feeling if she didn't tell him what he wanted to know...
But she couldn't.
Couldn't tell him.
It would be the end of all of them. Her, Louie, Dewey...
Dewey intrusted Webby with this object the other's wanted so badly for a reason.
"You're suppose to be this hard core, combat machine!" Louie's voice filled her ears as B.O.Y.D's hand went down the front of her shirt. She felt heat radiating from it and she started to panic. Was he about to burn her all over if she didn't talk?
No.
She wasn't going to give him what he wanted.
The image of her B.O.Y.D so innocent and cute made Webby homesick. Was that what was wrong with her? Did she not feel up to her old hard core self because she missed home? Her Granny, her Huey, Scrooge, Della, Donald...
She soon realized that if she didn't fix the problem here, in this world, there wouldn't even be a home to go back too.
She can't avoid to be the weak and pathatic like she knew this Huey wanted her to be. She had to be hard core again. If not for herself, then for, for...
"Dewey." She whispered.
B.O.Y.D stopped with his hand down her shirt and slowly lifted it out.
"Yes? My pet?" B.O.Y.D asked, eagerly. He moved the feathers away from her now sweaty face.
"D,Dewey was right. I, I did have it..." She began.
Silence.
"Did?" B.O.Y.D snarled, he started pressing her closer to him and Webby felt that heat building up against him again.
She looked down at herself. Both her arms were featherless at this point, and so was part of her left shoulder where B.O.Y.D had pressed his metal lips burned her neck. The smell of burnt feathers filled her noise making her eyes water.
"I, It's not with me anymore." Webby told him.
"Where. Is. It?" B.O.Y.D fumed.
He grabbed a hand full of her feathers on the back of her head and yanked them down making Webby's head lift up so she can only see the celing of the diner. She yelped making B.O.Y.D chuckle in amusement in her hear.
The heat was building up higher at this point. Webby felt light headed and she no doubt she was on the verge of passing out cold, and even though she felt heat, she shivered at the thought of what B.O.Y.D would do to her once she did.
Webby remained silent.
Hard core.
She was hard core. But now wasn't the time to unleash it. She had to wait until the right moment. Righ now the 'other's have only seen this side of her. She had a plan forming slowly in her mind as to when she'd unleash her hard core self on this world, and she couldn't wait to see the look on everyone's face when she did.
"I'm not telling you, anything." Webby snarled at him, finally.
"Suit yourself, but just so you know," B.O.Y.D hissed in her ear, "you could have prevented what is about to happen next..."
Webby felt the burning, followed this time by electrical shock. She screamed again until she saw dots forming in her eyes, and the smell of burning feathers again before she completely passed out in a heap on the ground in front of him.
"Hmph." B.O.Y.D said, getting up. He kicked the unconsious Webby slightly with his foot. Yeap. Out cold. "Still, way too easy." He muttered as he slowly bent down and picked her up. "Oh, Well, maybe with the two of them together..." He thought as he hosted her up over his shoulders.
Personally, B.O.Y.D could care less about what Goldie was planning. All he cared about was feeling more human. He could feel it, just out of his reach, as he played his games with his Webby, then this one...
B.O.Y.D knew he was close. So, so very close.
All he had to do was keep both Webby's to ensure that he can keep getting closer to that feeling of humanity.
But first, he needs to pay a visit to two certain someones and gloat...
"This is just great." Louie muttered. He stared miserably out of the bars of his own cell. He and his double have been put inside a different cell then Dewey and Nega Duck. " Stuck in a cell, seperated from my brother again." He continued. "Not to mention Huey and Webby are on the run from her double and B.O.Y.D."
He glanced behind him at his double who hadn't said a word since he seen Goldie.
"So," Louie said, trying to fill the empty room with noise. "You and Goldie seem," He paused for the right word. "familiar with each other." He finished.
"Yeah," His double grumbled. "She has this mission in life to make me miserable." Louie stared at him as his double glared down at the ground.
"I'm guessing cause of the thing that happened with Huey and you being the soul defender of this realm and all?" Louie stated.
His double nodded.
"She gets off being motherly towards me," His double explains, "only because she knows it ticks me off. She once tried to take Mom out of the picture just so she can replace her." He told him. Louie stared at him confused.
"B,But that can't happen!" Louie stammered, "she, she can't ever replace Mom. So -."
"Ever heard of adoption?" His double snapped at him.
Louie fell silent and stared at the ground.
"Sorry," His double said, sighing deeply. "I, I'm just really stressed."
Louie looked up and studied him. He had bags under his eyes, and his eyes had a glint of shadow running across them.
"Y,You feeling alright?" He asked.
His double nodded.
"Yeah. It's nothing, just my, my curse." His double said, finally.
"Curse?" Louie asked.
"Lena put a curse on me." His double explained. He didn't feel comfortable telling anyone about his curse. Except for his Webby, but with her acting weird and not seeing him in the last five years. Now his counter part was staring at him, waitng for him to explain.
He sighed again.
"It activated when she died. I, I see things. Things from the future." He told him, finally.
"Y,You can see into the future?" Louie asked, surprised.
"O,Only the bad parts." His double muttered. "Only when I fall asleep..."
"D,Did you see anything when you, you know..." Louie asked, his double stared at him, trying to figure out what he was trying to ask. Then realizing he was talking to himself and knowing himself meant knowing who Louie was and who he cared about.
"I, I don't think you really want to know what I saw." His double said, finally.
"Tell me. Please?" Louie pleaded.
His double stared at him for a long time, then told against his better judgement told him. He watched his face scrunch up in anger and hatered as he told him how he saw his Webby, being burned then electricuted by the hands of B.O.Y.D he, of couse, left out the violated bits he saw. He didn't think his double was up for any more bad news and figured he'd let his Webby fill him in on that part when and if she was ever ready to tell him.
"I'm gonna kill him." Louie snarled, once he was done.
"You and me both." His double agreed. "I have my own ax to grind with him."
Suddenly the look on the 'original,' Louie's face made him stop talking.
"What?" He asked. "Louie, what is it?"
"I, I was thinking." He began. "W,What if B.O.Y.D's been doing the same thing all these years with your Webby?" He asked.
He watched his double's muscle's tighten, his eyes narrowed at Louie at what he was suggesting.
"It, It would explain a lot of things..." He continued. "L,Like how she seemed to be -."
"That's enough!" His double shouted. Louie blinked and saw that his double's face was red. Louie wondered if he had thought of that already, and he had just made it to a reality by talking about it.
"Sorry." The 'original,' Louie muttered, his turn to apologize. "I'm just saying that Webby might not have completely abandoned you on purpose." He told him.
"Oh, yeah." His double said sarcastically, "her pratically stabbing me in the heart with that laser gun really proves your point."
Louie was about to say something when the doors opened and B.O.Y.D walked in with a very burned, molted Webby.
His stared at them as B.O.Y.D pratically dropped her like a sack of potatoes. She didn't make any indication that the impact harmed her in any way.
"W,Webby!" Louie shouted.
Nothing.
He gripped his hands on the bars of his cell and continued to stare at her. His heart pounding hard against his chest. He saw her bare arms without feathers, and the burn marks and he felt his anger rising.
His double wasn't looking at Webby, but was glaring at B.O.Y.D his smirk smile made his anger reach to the point of no return. His adrenlaine kicked in, just like it did in the Pit with the Dewey bot. He felt all his senses kick into over drive, his ears, eyes, and even breathing became like a bubble that was about to burst as soon as hit hit the ground.
He slowly walked up to the bars, put both hands on two of them and pulled them apart as if they weren't iron bars and made of rubber instead. Louie watched in awe as his double slowly walked up to B.O.Y.D.
"Get off hurting little girl's do you?" He snarled as the 'original,' Louie rushed to her. He held her in his arms and put an ear to her chest. She could barely hear her heart beating, and his eyes swelled up with tears.
"You know me, Lou-Lou." B.O.Y.D said, his eyes gleaming at him tauntingly. "Hit the enemy where it hurts the most. Break their spirits then -."
Louie's double took a running jump and meant to kick his face in but B.O.Y.D caught his leg, and smirked at him for a brief moment before throwing him clear across the room.
He hit the wall hard making it crater beneath him.
"Aww," B.O.Y.D said, as he passed the Original's without a second glance and walked towards the 'other,' Louie who had fallen on his flat on his face.
The force of the impact was so great that he felt he might have broken a couple of ribs. How did B.O.Y.D get so strong? This was way harder then the Dewey Bot. Even with all his over bearing adrenaline in over drive.
"don't bother getting up." He continued as Louie struggled to get to his feet, only to be kicked back down by B.O.Y.D. "It's much more fun seeing the great Lyewelln gravel at my feet for once." He told him.
The 'original,' Louie looked over at them as he held Webby close. He had to do something. He can't let B.O.Y.D...
He looked into Webby's flushed face, she still hadn't opened her eyes. But her breathing had gotten more rapid and she was trembling slightly. Louie didn't know if the trembling was a good sign, but at least he knew she was alive,
if just barely.
He looked back at B.O.Y.D who was giving his double all his attention at the moment then looked back down at Webby, kissed her forehead, and layed her gently back down on the ground. He stood up and turned around to glare at B.O.Y.D.
He really, really hated robots.
He only hoped that after all this he could be able to face his B.O.Y.D without any complications, considering he and Huey were friends...
"B.O.Y.D!" He shouted just as B.O.Y.D was about to stomp his double's head in the ground. He paused and looked behind him, his double made the effort to lift his head to stare at him too. "You just messed with the wrong Duck Boy." He snarled and ran straight for him.
