Dewey Duck was thrown in yet another cell once the Huey Bots and B.O.Y.D had taken him away from his brother, Webby, and doubles. B.O.Y.D slammed the cell door shut and started to leave when Dewey felt brave enough to ask,
"W,What are you planning on doing to me?"
B.O.Y.D paused and looked back at Dewey, his marble eyes shining brightly making the feathers on the back of his neck stand up. He didn't like how a smile slowly spread across B.O.Y.D's face as the door behind him slowly opened and a figure stepped inside beside him.
"It's not what I'm going to do to you, but rather -."
"W, Webby?" Dewey finished.
Webby just snickered at him.
He stared at Webby's double, she looked just the same as last time except older, stronger, and...
Empty.
Her eyes.
Dewey saw no life in them. Not like they had last time he saw them when she had been with Louie.
"I'll leave you to it then," B.O.Y.D said interupting Dewey's thoughts. He bent down close to Webby and Dewey heard him whisper to her, "Don't scew this up, we're watching."
Dewey watched Webby stare straight ahead, blankly, as B.O.Y.D straightened up, took one last look at Dewey before turning and slamming the door behind him.
"W,Webby." Dewey tried again.
Webby blinked then and slowly moved up towards the cell. Dewey watched her put the key in and slowly open it, then close it softly behind her. Dewey swallowed hard as Webby put the key in her army strapped jacket and started slowly for Dewey.
"I'm going to ask you this once," Webby told him cooly, her eyes shining brightly. "Where is it?" She asked.
Dewey blinked.
"W,Where's what?" He asked nervously.
Webby made a quicky motion with her feet, knocking Dewey to the ground. He tried to get up but Webby put her foot on his chest making it hard for him to get up. She took out a knife and Dewey's eyes widen when she put it up against his throat.
"I said, I won't ask again." She snarled.
"I, I don't know what you are talking about." Dewey choked out as Webby continued press her foot tightly on her foot. Webby snarled at him and pressed the knife more tightly up against this throat, she bent down close to him.
"Is he alright?" She whispered.
Dewey blinked again.
Her attitude was still hostle but her the look on her face had changed from a snarl to a worried and concerned one, but only for a moment.
"Is Louie alright?" She whispered again. "Blink once for yes, twice for -." She stopped, Dewey sensed she couldn't finish that sentence.
Dewey blinked once.
Webby closed her eyes then slowly opened them.
"If you don't tell me where it is, I'll have no choice but to do what I was ordered to do to you." She told him more loudly. Her eyes widen as if she was trying to tell Dewey something. Dewey had a hunch of what she was trying to tell him.
"I told you. I don't know -." Dewey stopped when he felt warm blood tickle down his throat. His eyes widen as at her. He could talk, could cry out for help. He saw her trembleing slightly as she wiped his blood off her knife before slowly getting up off him and putting it back inside her jacket.
"W,Why?" Dewey managed to choke out as Webby opened the cell door. She slowly turned back to him.
"I'm sorry. Dewey." Webby said, softly. She turned away from him and shut the cell door.
Dewey quickly put his hand towards his throat, pressing it hard against it to make the bleeding slow down. He watched Webby pull out the key to the door and opened it.
"H, He misses you." Dewey squeaked. Webby turned to stare at him as she locked the door back. "H, He's going out of his mind with worry..."
Dewey saw Webby's eyes shine bright with tears, but quickly recovered from it.
"He's better off without me." Webby said, so quietly but Dewey was able to read her lips before his eyes slowly began to close. "You'll be fine within a couple of hours. I only grazed you." Webby said more loudly as her voice began to fade away. "In that time I hope you'll have a better answer then, I don't know, when I come back."
With that, Webby turned and walked out of the room without a second glance back.
Dewey groaned loudly as he tried to roll on his side. The pain was unbearable as he tried to sit up against the cell wall. His breathing was rapidly increasing and he tried to keep his eyes open but it did no good as he fell into a deep, unwanted, and painful sleep...
Back at the compromised bunker,
Huey, the Louie's, and Webby was wondering what to do next.
The original Louie was so mad and angry at Dewey for doing such a reckless and stupid thing. Did Dewey really think that by turning himself in that the rest of them would be safe?
Louie looked towards Webby who was staring at the ground, not saying a word, with tears still in her eyes. A low growl escaped Louie's throat.
Dewey made Webby cry.
That was low, even for him.
He had no idea what he meant by his last words to her. But whatever they meant, it hit her hard. Too hard for her to even look him in the eyes.
"I'm going after Dewey." Louie said finally. He grabbed the gun from his double's hand and started for the exit.
They all blinked and stared at him.
"You can't!" Huey said, grabbing his arm. Louie glared at him and yanked it away.
"Like hell I can't." He snarled. "I'm going to get him back, then I'm going to kill him for making Webby cry." He told him firmly.
