"ASAHI! Get up were going to miss our flight!" Daichi yelled, packing his things.
A new island was discovered off the coast of Oregon. It was previously unknown and it was a surprise that it hadn't been found earlier.
"Yeah, yeah, i'm up, i'm up." Asahi stumbled out of his room still half asleep.
We were in out last year of collage and exploring the island was going to count as our final. We were planning to become biologists. We were going to stay on the island for a total of 2 months. Hey, exploring a new island is way better than writing a 5 page essay on what kind of bear is best.
Tsukishima walked into the room. He had his suitcase and looked ready to go.
I did one final check of my bag. When I was sure I had everything I zipped up my suitcase.
"ASAHI LET'S GO!" Daichi yelled again.
Asahi ran out of his room, bag in hand.
"Ok, everyone ready?" Daichi asked.
Tsukishima stood up.
"Yes, i'm ready."
"I'm ready to." Asahi stated.
"Well, then let's get going!" Daichi stated happily.

The flight was longer than we expected, about 12 hours. We had to reach the island by boat, which was an adventure.
We came up on the island. I saw that a dock had been built and pulled up next to it.
Asahi was kind of scared to exit the boat, saying he would 'fall in'. Tsukishima threatened to push him in, which was enough motivation for Asahi.
We walked up to the cabin we were staying in and walked in.
The inside was kind of small, but it was large enough for the three of us.
We placed our stuff on our beds and decided to sleep, since none of us had been able to on the plane.
This was going to be an adventure.

Ah yes, a short first chapter.
Also, starting a new story the same day after you finish one. Not classy.
For this story, i'm going to dedicate an entire chapter to a ship. I'm going to go in a rotation.
