Shadows in the Forest (Haikyuu au)

3rd person

Daichi, Asahi and Tsukishima arrived back at the cabin mildly exhausted from their encounters with Suga, Noya and Yamaguchi.

"So I assume you both saw them again?" Daichi started.

Asahi and Tsukishima both nodded.

"Did they approach you or did you approach them."

"Yamaguchi approached me." Stated Tsukishima bluntly.

"Noya came up to me as well. He nearly gave me a heart attack in the process though." Asahi sighed.

"Are we really that bad at staying away from them? Like how do they keep showing up?" Questioned Daichi.

"Well, it is their island." Tsukishima said.

"You have a fair point." Asahi added.

"Well, how about we tell each other what happened, then decide where to go from there." Daichi stated.

The other two boys nodded and they all sat down. Re-counting their adventures from the day.

~4-week time skip~

Tsukishima's POV

After that night we decided we should just try to get along with them until we had to go. At this point we had finished everything we needed to do for our finals, so we had the entire week to do whatever we wanted. We had run into the islanders on occasion, but we hadn't seen them for a while now. 

We were all getting ready for the day when we heard a knock at our door. We all looked at each other, extreme confusion on our faces. Daichi was the first to make a move.

"One second!" He yelled.

He went to answer the door and when he opened it he gasped. I turned the corner to see what was going on when I saw them.

Sugawara, Nishinoya and Yamaguchi.

"Asahi! Get over here!" I yelled walking up to the door.

He came running into the room and blushed when he saw our guests.

"Hi Asahi!" Noya yelled.

"H-hi Noya." He stuttered.

"Well, what brings you guys here today?" Daichi asked.

"Well, we talked about it with the chief and we got permission to invite you to our village!" Sugawara said cheerfully.

Daichi looked back at both of us, as if asking for our permission.

"I-I don't mind." Asahi said.

"I'm ok with it." I stated.

Daichi turned back around and said,

"We would love to."

Sugawara clapped his hands and looked like he was about to burst out in song.

"Well then let's go! Everyone's waiting!"

We all gave each other one last look before walking out the door.

What could possibly go wrong?

We followed the three islanders to what I thought was the middle of the island. The fog was so thick here you could barley see. Our escorts suddenly stopped, and turned around to face us.

"So, everyone is waiting to meet you. Please be nice." Yamaguchi said, shooting me a glance.

Why is he singling me out?!
