A/N: Hello! This is the second part of my first Solinh fanfic in this "book", I guess.

As with before, I am warning you about the topic of this particular fanfic.

There will be mentions of a mental illness and trauma, so if it makes you uncomfortable, skip to part 3 of the fanfic.

It is going to be mostly fluff, and written in a way that will make sense to you if you have decided to skip this part.

If you have chosen to read this, then go on ahead. It starts below, and will be in third person unless stated otherwise.

Have fun! Also, I made new fanart for it!!! :D

Shaking, Linh fled from the shore's edge and the girl who knocked her into the water.

Tam followed, after he shot a quick, scathing glare at the sunshine-color haired couple whose rude splashing led to Linh's progress being set back further.

Linh hurried to the place where they had set up their chairs, gray for Tam, because who actually sells black beach chairs, (A/N: They just absorb the sun's heat and become insanely hot, even though it's just cloth) and arctic blue for Linh.

She wrapped her cream towel around herself and covered her head with it, curling up into a ball.

Tam wrapped him arm around his terrified sister, who shook as she leaned against him.

"Want to go now? I can call Tiergan."

There was a long pause, and then a voice so tiny that a mouse could barely hear it squeaked,

"No."

Tam blinked, and asked again.

"No. I'm staying here."

He hummed, but didn't push her.

Linh stood up, and spoke confidently.

"I'm going to the tide pools."

Tam shot up.

"I'll go with you."

A/N: Lowkey forgot to say this, but it's in San Diego, Socal, America's FInest CIty, the City in Motion, that place where Sophie was originally from, whatever you want to call it, that's where they live because a) the beaches have tide pools there, (I know because I've been there before) and b) Sophie was originally placed there, so that's why.

Linh shook her head, and Tam scowled, sinking back onto the sand.

"I-I'll be okay."

His eyes narrowed, but Tam's voice was light.

"I'll be here, watching you and not enjoying myself whatsoever."

Linh laughed just a little bit, and walked towards the little pools of seawater and shellfish.

Sitting by the tidepools was always relaxing for Linh, even after Tiergan adopted her and her brother.

The island, Linh cringed, shuddering at the thought, it didn't have the rocky pools of water that Linh was so fond of.

They were the main reason why Linh wanted to come to the beach, as much as she couldn't fathom the vast expanse that separated her from those she loved.

Settling down by the small worlds of life, Linh trailed her hands in the crisp water, and tickled the sea anemones, giggling when they pulled in their tentacles.
