A/N: Hello! I know I haven't updated for awhile yet, but I'm working on a new cover for this story. As in an actual art project. So I've had little time for this really. Oh well.....

Anyways, here it is. I changed the 3rd part of this Solinh part, just a little bit. Instead of the Songs actually getting hit, they were almost  hit. And it's going to be in third person's POV the entire time, I think. If not, I'll let you know. Here goes!

Linh gasped, and Tam slammed on his brakes.

They were at the intersection closest to the mall, going straight, when all of a sudden, a massive monster truck ran the red light, a flash of black and red.

The Songs were crossing the intersection, when the truck broke free from the surrounding lanes and came barreling towards them.

Tam saw something, Linh gasped, and the little car braked, the truck narrowly missing them by a mere centimeter.

Those watching said that they didn't know how the people in the little car didn't get hit, and that it was a miracle.

After the truck zoomed by them, Tam and Linh sat there, shaken, and Tam slowly started up the car again, continuing on their way to the mall, slowly.

"T-tam, wh-what just happened?"

"We were almost hit by that truck."

"That was scary..."

"Yeah, and really random."

"You don't think they did that on purpose? Tried to hit us?"

"I don't know Linh."

Tam slowly pulled into the parking lot and parked the car.

He leaned back, letting out his breath in a long, slow exhale.

Reaching over, Linh wrapped her hand around her brother's, and squeezed.

With his other hand, Tam tugged on his bangs, then reached to give his sister a hug, who burst into tears.

"We-we could have gotten really hurt Tam."

"Yeah, but we're safe now."

He reached for a tissue, and handed it, and a water bottle to his sister, who took them wordlessly.

"I hope S-sophie and Keefe get here safely."

"I'm sure they will," Tam said, between his sister's sniffles.

There was no time to do anything other than throw up their hands, and brake for Sophie and Keefe.

The black and white sports car hit the rear bumper of Sophie's car, jarring the passengers, causing the airbags to puff up.

Sophie and Keefe were turning right a block away from the mall, and the car behind them smacked into them from behind.

Then, it pulled away, blazing through the now green light, and all Sophie and Keefe could do was just sit there, stunned.

"Was that a hit and run?"

Sophie's voice shook, and a look of shock was plastered upon her face.

And for once, Keefe was at a loss for words.

"If we went even a split second earlier or later, we could have died....."

Sophie started up the car again, and pulled over to the side of the road to look at the damage.
