A/N: Hello! This was requested by @Mu51c_L0v3r! Yippee!

This is going to take place in a human AU, and similar to the circumstances that surrounded LInh and Sophie when they first met.

This may allude to nervousness and anxiety, so if you are uncomfortable with this, please do not read any further.

If you are seemingly okay with this, continue to read!

Linh stood by her open locker, staring at the letter that had made its way inside.

Tentatively, she reached inside, and opened it.

Hearing footsteps coming up behind her, she turned to see Tam walking up to her.

"You got one too?"

Linh nodded, taking out the golden piece of folded cardstock inside it.

Inside, golden typed words popped out at her.

You are invited to the annual Foxfire bonfire at the beach next Saturday evening!

Below was the place, time, and directions on how to get there, but she was too nervous to read it.

She grasped the letter tightly, and Tam noticed, frowning.

"We don't have to go if you don't want to."

Tam spoke gently, noting her anxious expression.

"N-no. I-"

Linh gulped, but straightened her shoulders.

"I'm going."

The slim girl spoke confidently, but there was a slight waver at the end of her words.

Tam's eyebrows rose, but he remained silent, just pulling at his silver bangs.

"Okay. I guess we're going then. I'll email the school faculty so that they know to expect us."

Linh nodded quickly, a little too quickly.

Tam gave his twin a funny look, and pulled out his phone to email the school.

"Mr. Song! No phones in the hallways!"

A sharp voice rang through the halls.

Tam groaned.

It was Mrs. Galvin, the hall monitor for this time of the day, when she didn't have a class, and she didn't let the rules slide by all the times Tam had seen her.

The Song twins were new to Foxfire, but it didn't mean that they were exempt from the rules of the high school.

Tam put on his sweetest smile, saying,

"But it said to email the school faculty if we were coming ASAP. And that's exactly what I'm doing! See?"

He brandished his phone, and she huffed.

"Surely you could have done it outside of the school."

"But then it wouldn't have been as soon as possible,"

Tam chirped.

"Don't let me see it again,"

Was her only reply, and when she was gone, Tam let out a big sigh.

"Ugh. I hate  doing that."

Linh grinned widely.

"What, cuddling up to teachers and making nice?"

She asked, rather cheekily.

Tam just scowled and stalked away.

As she watched his retreating back though, Linh's grin faded away as she thought about what she had to do.
