Like, what? Omg... O///O

You didn't even notice her as she stood before you, snapping their fingers at you and repeating 'hey' a hundred times. This gradually brought you back to reality, and you realized you were looking at your own pretty face. You backed away and had your gun pointed at her.

"Woah! Like, no need to get violent!" your double raised her hands. "I just want to  talk and then I'll be out of your hair, okay?"

"Talk," you spat, keeping the gun at her forehead.

"Okay, so, first of all, it's an honor to meet you. Like, wow!" your double beamed. "Like, I never thought I'd actually meet you in person!"

Your brows furrowed as you lowered the rifle. "Why is meeting me such a big deal?"

"C'mon, you're the original [Y/N]! Do you realize how cool that is?" she fangirled. "I just want you to know how much of an impact you've had on me. Like, I wouldn't be me if it weren't for you, ya feel me?"

You did not feel her, you felt confused.

"Gosh, I'm probably being so annoying. Sorry," she fiddled with her clothing, though her excitement didn't die down. "But anyway, now to the important stuff. Not to be dramatic," she stopped fiddling and dropped her smile. "Your life is in danger."

You raised the gun.

"Woah! Woah! Like, chill!" she pushed the tip of your gun down with one hand, the other shooting up in surrender. "I'm not the one trying to hurt you! I'm trying to help you!"

"Alright, how exactly am I in danger?" your hands were on your hips, the gun levitating next to your head.

"There's someone trying to capture you for, like, evil things. I know I said I'd be out of your hair, but like, please let me help you! I promise I won't be annoying!" she whined.

You didn't need her help, as you had cool psychic powers now... but it might be nice having someone to keep you company. Something your so-called 'friends' didn't want to grant you. You were still mad about that.

"... sure, whatever," you shrugged.

"YESS! I promise you won't be disappointed!" she did a little victory dance. "First thing's first, we need a disguise!" she grabbed your leg and pulled you behind her like a balloon. It was awkward so you considered telling her to let go, but she seemed so happy. It was kinda cute, in a super weird way. She pulled you all the way to a gas station and bought a chocolate bar so you two could use the restroom.

"What's the plan?" you asked as she locked the door. The restroom didn't look or smell very nice and the dim light above the brown-stained sink flickered on and off. Your double reached into her pants and pulled out a pink magic wand with a star on one end.

"Oh," for whatever reason your cheeks heated up. She swung the thing around, transforming her appearance into that of a Sailor Moon cosplayer.

"Now you try!" she urged you to take the wand, but you pushed it away.

"I've never done magic before," you said, "what if I blow this gas station up?" you cringed at the thought of accidentally killing yourself, your weird double and the nice gas station attendant. Especially the nice gas station attendant.

"Don't worry, I'll guide you through the process!" your double gently pushed the wand into your hands, then cupped your hands in hers. That way you were both kind of holding the wand.

"Let's start out small. How do you feel about changing the color of your shirt?" her lips curled into a gentle smile.

"That's fine," you said. You were beginning to wonder if you were blushing. Not that it'd matter in this lighting.

"Okay, just imagine your shirt's color changing to green and move the wand around," she instructed. You closed your eyes and did as she said. Together you rocked the wand back and forth until she told you to open your eyes. When you looked down you saw your shirt was a nice shade of green.

"Woah!" you said.

"I know, right?" she gave you a cheeky grin. "Now try changing into something more complex," she pulled her hands from yours. You somehow felt disappointed that she wasn't touching you anymore. Maybe you just liked holding hands with people.

You ungracefully swung the wand around you. When you felt your outfit was probably complete, you opened your eyes. Your double was covering her mouth in awe, tears flowing down her stunning features.

"[Y/N]... you're beautiful!" she said. Your appearance hadn't really changed much and it was weird to have someone identical to you compliment you, but her words still made you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

"Oh shucks," you said. You were wearing a goth bear costume. You'd always wanted to wear something like that but never had the courage (or the cash) for it. Where did all this confidence come from? Maybe it was the fact that you'd just gained superpowers, or maybe that you were hanging out with someone who truly adored you. Maybe a mix of both.

"Alright, what's next?" you asked, not wanting to explore your feelings any deeper.

Your double shrugged. "Don't know. You wanna just, like, hang out?" she slid the magic wand into her sailor moon skirt. Now that you thought about it, pants had been a strange place to keep something like that.

You crossed your arms and leaned against the wall. "You mean while we look for the bad guy? Sure."

"Really?? I mean... OK!" your double smiled.

You two said your goodbyes to the gas station attendant and left. The night was still young. The stars shone brilliantly above you, as the light pollution was at a minimum in the area. If only there was a power outage every night. That'd be fantastic. The pros completely outweigh the cons.

A warm hand slid into yours. You looked down (you're still levitating and won't ever stop) at your double, who seemed to be blushing a little. But nah, her cheeks were just getting red from the cold weather. It'd be pretty weird if she was blushing for any other reason.

"Is it oh-okay if I hold your hand?" she stammered a bit. "My hands are getting pretty cold."

You squeezed her hand tighter. "Sure, I don't mind."

And so you floated into the night, with her walking next to you...

"Wait, what should I call you?" you asked her.

"People back home call me Bro."

Then you disappeared into the night, oblivious to the horrors that awaited you...
