{hope you enjoy! Sorry for slow updates}

I couldn't believe myself, my hand slammed into the tiled wall of the shower as water ran down my body. A few tears slipped down my cheeks as I stood in hot water, breath harsh.

I could hear my love burst into the room, calling my name and pausing. Was I too harsh? Too sudden...?

I had finally got out of the shower, wrapping a towel around my frame. I don't know why I was suddenly so terrified. I wanted to control myself, I was scared of possibly everything, I didn't want to hurt anyone as her.

"Lockout, can I come in?"

"No."

"Lockout, please."

Opening the door where Shockwave could only see my face, I gazed at him, one eye flickering red and the other a deep gold. Shockwave breathed harshly, shoving his way through the door, and to me. I blushed, bare frame exposed to him as I dropped my towel in shock. Shockwave placed a hand on my cheek, leaning down and taking my lips in his. My spark slowly calmed as my love pulled me close to him. Our kiss continued for a few short seconds before we slowly pulled away from each other. The mech ran his hands down my frame.

"I can tell there's more you're not telling me, Lockout. Yet you won't let me hear your troubles." He sounded so human. So concerned, I... hadn't seen him so emotional before.

"I-I'm afraid... and I don't want to hurt you."

"Then let me help you."

"You can't, Shockwave." I picked my towel from the floor, eyes hardly open as I felt my body shiver. Midnight whispered dark horrors in my ear as I breathed. "You can't control it, only I can."

"You're not alone, Princess." He whispered in my ear. Just listen to me, Lockout." His hands wandered up my back as he leaned down and kissed my neck. His lips met with my ear and he spoke softly, deeply. "I'm right here, and I'm not going anywhere."

My breath felt shaky as short, soft tears drizzled down my cheeks. Shockwave used a finger to wipe the tears away.

"It's going to be alright."

We sat in the hotel for a while, I had clothed myself in a short, tight black dress, a nice one, the slit of the dress had gold chains. We had dinner reservations for a nice restaurant called Cafe Orleans.

"Are you ready, Shockwave?" I spoke, placing gold earrings in my ears which dangled, and a lengthy gold necklace. The mech unbuttoned his black dress shirt slightly, nodding his helm. He had a dark violet vest on over the shirt, and primus... he was sexy.

Once we checked into the restaurant and sat at our table, I ordered the roasted chicken while Shockwave got the Monte Cristo. It was a wonderful dinner. I held Shockwave's hand and leaned over the table for a gentle kiss. He smiled, I wish he had a face all the time. I loved seeing his emotions in a far better aspect.

After our wonderful dinner, we rode a few rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones Adventure, and Big Thunder Mountain railroad. We were quite tired by the end of the night and I was ready for bed.

The stars had begun to come into view of the night sky. I had stepped outside on the balcony for a moment, gazing out at the stars, a margarita in hand. I swirled the drink, huffing softly.

"Lockout," I heard a voice interrupt my thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm coming."

I pulled my dress from my frame, grabbing for my red bikini. I had promised Shockwave that we would swim tonight. I wanted to spend more time with the large mech, as I would not see him like this for a while. Shockwave was amazing; smart and talented as he was, I couldn't get my optics off him.

The thought of swimming... I shook it from my helm; ignoring my tired eyes. Shockwave's lips curled up into a gentle smile as he ruffled my hair. Soft golden eyes met with his more crimson brown one, slowly drifting their gaze to the mech's lips. The lips I had never seen before.

Those lips... I want to kiss him so badly.

Shockwave had begun to get ready for the pool and I decided to walk down alone. I wrapped a towel around myself as to not frighten or show any unwanted skin to children.

The hotel pool was empty, as it would be this late at night. I sat on the steps, letting my legs move naturally in the water. I was incredibly exhausted, but I would remain to keep my promise to Shockwave, even if I wouldn't really go into the water. I enjoyed Shockwave's company, as he does mine. I care for the mech and always have.

I heard the pool gate open and close, the mech almost causing my jaw to drop. "Hey handsome." I purred. The mech kissed my cheek, dropped his towel and dove into the water. I watched him but he vanished from my vision.

The mech swam toward me, I got slightly nervous, as I didn't know what he was going to do. A screech escaped my lips when he grabbed onto my waist and pulled me with him into the water. Anxiety took hold of me and I clawed him, fear striking every moment that he went deeper.

"Shockwave stop!" I screeched out when he let me go. I can't swim... Shockwave I can't swim!

He noticed my distress, kicking my legs harshly as I sunk, and grabbed onto me again, carrying me out of the pool. Hot tears full of fear slipped down my cheeks, I was trembling.

Shockwave wrapped his arms around me, comforting me as I cried. I was still scared, and I should've told him before. "Why didn't you tell me that you can't swim?" His voice was soft, full of concern.

I was afraid you would think different of me... "I... didn't know how to tell you." It was all I could manage to whisper. I was still scared, even though he continued to run his hand down my back soothingly and pull me closer. It felt nice, but fear told me otherwise. "I'm sorry Shockwave."

"Don't be sorry, Lockout."

I paused for a moment, gazing up at him. Why shouldn't I be sorry. Why shouldn't he have laughed in my face and called me pathetic? Why is he caring for me? I took in a short breath and hugged him tightly. Why do you care, Shockwave? What is stopping you from calling me names?

"I can't..."

"Can't what? What's wrong?"

"I can't stop wondering why you care."

His eye color went dull, as he shot a sad gaze to the ground.

"Don't you see that you mean something to me, princess...?"

"You were always just so... emotionless. I'm not used to you being so-"

My golden eyes widened for a moment as I was caught off guard, his lips against mine. I melted gently, my eyes closing, feeling Shockwave's warm body press against mine as he laid me onto my back. Resting now against the rough concrete as he pressed lightly up against me more. My head spun, but the world around me suddenly stopped. My cheeks flushed a deep hue of pink, my spark pounding against my chest. His lips were soft, and it was calming. My arms slowly slid around his neck, pulling him closer as he gripped onto my waist. Our kiss lasting long, but it was so perfect.

His lips ever so carefully were removed from mine, and my eyes gently opened. I was at a loss for words, as he distracted me from my voice. A small smirk formed on his lips, and the words he said made my spark lose it for a moment.

"I love you"
