{I felt that this rewrite was long waited for. I'm starting school and work, so it might be harder to upload. I have had a bit of a writer's block and been a bit out of practice since writing this, so I hope you guys enjoy. I quite enjoy this as it tends to show a broken side of Lockout. Love you guys and thanks for reading! <3 Locky}

"And when had this been decided?" Leaning against the doorway, a grim gaze in my golden optics. I had folded my arms upon eavesdropping into the conversation of which my brother and his scientist were having. Megatron's crimson orbs darkened upon their meet with my features. This didn't surprise me.

"It was not your decision to make." The scientist stepped in, his voice became villainous when his single red optic gazed my way.

"The spacebridge is by far a deep concern. You're placing a stress on yourself of which you cannot do alone. The chances of getting one done in the time we have, is not possible." I knew the time it had taken me and Shockwave on Cybertron. With little supplies then, what advantage would we have now?

"It has already been finished." A burst of shock rushed through my frame, slowly twisting into anger as Shockwave began to walk toward where I stood, no doubt to walk out so we wouldn't have to talk about it. When he got close enough, I gripped his shoulders and shoved him back into the wall. My optics had grown wild as I held him there, snarling.

"Why didn't you tell me?" My voice broke as I attempted to listen to reason. My spark begun to thump heavily at the thought of being turned away, to be told something in deep concern of which I shouldn't hear.

"There was no need. It was to be kept hidden from lower rank anyway, and as I can see currently," The mech paused for a moment, standing straight, looming over me to intimidate me. "You are not over me."

I held back the temptation to attack him for the moment, holding my breath in as he shoved past me. Before he could get far, I huffed out without thinking, "I am in a far deeper line than you would ever believe." The tone had broke. "I don't take orders from a Scientist."

"Don't-"

"A scientist who hides in his lab, keeping secrets and lying to his love." I turned to him. Standing straight, hand twitching to grab for my blade. "Did you not hear me?"

The crimson hue which lit the doorway from his optic, could be noticeable as his voice echoed off the walls, dark and low. "It is illogical for you to have known. It was not important."

I yanked him around to face me, "Fuck that shit! You know how it would make me feel." I shoved him back, causing him to stumble into the hall.

Megatron watched in amusement; I reached for my sword, pulling it out, allowing it to clash with his chest. He collapsed to the floor, my frame looming over him as I pressed my heel to his chest, blade held at his face.

"Pull that shit again, and your spark will cease to exist." I set my sword into its snug place on my back, then walked away angrily. I had laid down my warning.

Taking another step closer to the cliff's edge, rock slowly breaking away near where my body desired to be. Lantern-gold orbs gazed out at the gleaming twinkles of sky. I let myself wonder things such as: How many of the stars were out, dying, like bulbs on a Christmas tree? I could be staring at stories that haven't had a chance to be told. I suddenly felt myself move to step at the edge, coming to a halt when a voice echoed off the trees.

"Fate rarely finds a Decepticon searching for peace. I can sense the conflict in your spark..."

"And do you suppose I would change my mind and join your side?"

"You don't have to follow their path." He took a gentle breath deep into his chest. "Stress can cause you to wish for things you don't really desire. I understand-"
