I will attempt to post chapters 10 and 11 tomorrow, again, sorry for the delay on this chapter, I was up camping with my family for the week. And i had writer's block yesterday. So finally, I was able to write.

Quarters dark, Bolt's soft sounds of sleep heard in the room, for the sheep echo off the walls. I was awake, golden orbs dim, fixated on the ceiling. I was unable to sleep through my aches and conditions; listening to the voice in my helm.

Midnight's thoughts took hold of mine, causing me to shuffle from the metal bed and onto my feet. I walked to the washroom, rubbing tired optics, standing at the sink and gazing into the mirror. The light flickered in the room, that musty smell had returned.
"Look at yourself Lockout, can't you see it?" Turning my head away, she had spoke, her shadow in my reflection. "My how you have changed from all those years. We are far stronger than that of our brother, don't you see?"

Unable to hide the frustration, I shattered the mirror with a single tear slipping down my cheek. I brushed cold fingers against my arm, sighing and taking my leave from my quarters.

When walking through the dimly lit corridors of the ship, troops seemed afraid of me. The emotion on my face shady and dull. Shadow cast over my features. I came across another dark shadow in the hall, pausing.

Door wings lowering, I felt my breath hitch. Oh I knew it was him, it was always him. He was always watching.

"Soundwave, I prefer if you keep my whereabouts to yourself." No response came, troops walked past us.

He stood there; the purple lights danced on his dark, sleek frame. He played a recording of Shockwave's voice, "I find your statement to be most illogical."

Those words really pulled my circuits. "Don't test me Soundwave, I have no time to listen to those damn recordings." With optics closed, and teeth clenched slightly; I remained at the ready... in case he tried anything.

I felt a cord wrap around my leg and pull me with it. I slammed a fist into the side of the mech's helm, causing him to stumble and let go. I slipped to the ground, a harsh groan emerged from my vents. The mech took hold of me once more, pushing me into the wall and covering my lips.

"Enough."

His visor slid from his face, cold, blood red optics met with my own. Scars were visible on his features, lips and cheeks. "I can admit, I didn't expect you to stop me." He had let me go, huffing.

"You are supposed to be resting."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"Soundwave... I can't get him off my mind..."

He knew what I meant, just as those gold orbs met with his. "You-"

"Yeah..."

Shockwave... the one mech I had spent so many years with... waiting for something to happen. I had him, no one else. And I... I don't know if he felt the same.

Soundwave gazed away, "I'm not surprised, I mean- he looks at you like you're something special, and treats you before anyone else. And you do the same. You always protect him, even though you failed at trying to stop the autobots from endangering our mission, you kept him safe that whole time."

"Shockwave doesn't find me the same."

"I think you're lying, Lockout."

"It's most illogical."

I jumped at the sound of Shockwave's voice, the bulk mech looming over Soundwave and I. "Shockwave!"

Shit. What did he hear? "Lockout."

"What do you mean when you say I'm illogical?"

"You're... something."

He walked away, silence in the hall. Soundwave had gone, I was alone.

The silence and me.
