Ch. 4 - Flashback

"As I entered the school, all eyes were on me. I was quite the idol back then."

"Look, It's Sora-senpai."

"Isn't she beautiful?"

"Rumors say that she's an angel that descended from heaven."

"'Jeez, everybody's saying things that aren't true, but It's okay. I wanted to finish this school year, and become a full-time Vtuber again.'"

"The very first day of school, and all boys went to the room, and confessed to me."

"'Nope.' Is all I said."

"I rejected every boy, and I mean, EVERY boy in the school."

"They kept coming and coming, until one day, after a week from the start of the school year, there he appeared. Shirazaki Yamada."

"After the introduction of him being a transfer student, I thought to myself, 'Jeez, another boy that's gonna confess to me.'"

"The teacher said, 'Okay, Shirazaki, you sit there. Next to Tokino Sora.'"

"'Okay teacher.' He said."

"All the boys were jealous of him, wishing they'd be in his place."

"He then sat down, and befriended me, but because of all the boys trying to get my attention, I instinctively slapped his hand."

"'Don't touch me.'"

"The boy in front of him told him, 'Hey, did you know that she was confessed by every boy in school? You'd better get your hands off, because you don't have any chance on getting her heart like the rest of us.' 'Ah, no wonder she did that. Gomen, I'll try to stay away from you, hehehe.'"

"I just pouted, and class continued as usual. After class was done, I went, and had lunch under the sakura tree in our school. After I finished my bento, a guy went up to me, and wall-slammed me against the tree.

"'Go out with me, please.' As usual, I rejected him, however, he crossed the line a bit."

"He pinned my left arm to the wall, and my bento box fell to the ground."

"'If you won't go out with me, then I'll make you go out with me.'"

"I thought it was the end, until..."

"'Oi, let go of her.' Yamada appeared."

"'Teme, what do you think you're doing, interrupting my sweet time with Sora!' He attempted to punch him, but..."

"Well, let's say he's WAY too talented with martial arts. He blocked his punch, and kicked him very far, about 10m."

"What? That's superhuman!" Noel said.

"He's insane!" Okayu said.

"Continuing on." I coughed.

"'Hey, you alright, Tokino?'"

"'C-Call me Sora.' I said while smiling."

"'You bastard!' The guy that he kicked said."

"He went in to punch him again, only this time, Yamada submitted him to the ground."

"'Oi, oi! What do you think you're doing? Don't you see you're disturbing her?'"

"'T-teme....I...'"

"'Hey, what's going on here?' The disciplinary committe came in time."

"'This guy was disturbing Tokino Sora.' Yamada said."

"'Wakatta, we'll take care of matters from here. Thank you.'"

"He approached me, and reached out his hand."

"'I'm Yamada Shirazaki. Let's get along, Sora.' He smiled."

"'S-Same here, Yamada.'"

"After that moment, I realized that he wasn't bad. To be honest, He was always a weird one. He always records audio everyday because he can use it as 'evidence,' He can appraise people's thoughts very well, he was very kind as well. That's when I realized...I loved him." I smiled.

Everybody started whispering.

"Huh, so Yamada was Sora's first love?"

"But why does she hate him a lot?"

"Everybody, I'm gonna continue." The room was silent.

"I cooked for him, helped him with homework, played horror games with him, talked with him, walked with him, everything. It was like a dream come true that a boy, aside from my dad, truly respected me, not horny for me, but I was afraid to confess to him, because I feared that all the things we went through, would just become memories, but 3 days before graduation, I mustered the courage to confess to him." I smiled.

"So? What did he say?" Everybody asked.

"H-He rejected me." I said with lifeless eyes.

"N-No way..." Everybody said in unison.

"He instead fell in love with Hinata, his childhood friend, who did nothing for him....But he was rejected by her as well." I said as I laughed.

"It's funny, after he got rejected, it looked like he was in despair, so he turned to me, but he didn't know what to say." I laughed hysterically.

"U-Um, Sora-senpai?" Pekora said.

"S-Sorry, hahaha. Anyway, I shouted at him, and I just wanted to forget everything we did together. I thought that all he did for me was fake. It never existed. When we went home that day, I instantly went up to my room, and cried a lot. I was comforted by Yagoo, and my parents."

"What a sad story. Why would Yamada do that?" Korone said.

"Even now, I still love him. There's no other guy I can fall in love with, but....but.....I still hate him for what he did to me...." I said as I sobbed.

"*sigh* It's been one year since that happened, and you still haven't moved on from it. You're also having mixed emotions about him. Well, time is a healer. Let's see what'll happen on the future. I'm pretty sure he still feels guilty about it, even now. I'm sure that fate will return you two again." Yagoo said as he walked out.

"That's too harsh, even for me." Suisei said.

"I mean, that's very touching, but that's quite sad at the same time." Shion said.

"Yamada did that? I can't believe it-peko!" Pekora said.

"*snort* I guess you guys now know why I'm trying to get rid of him. I'm having mixed emotions right now, but I guess I can't stop the train." I wiped my eyes.

"Doesn't that make it reasonable to get rid of him? Chot'to mat'te." Suisei thought back to when Yagoo said," I'm pretty sure he still feels guilty about it, even now." She mumbled.

"H-He was so kind to me-peko." Pekora said with her face down.

"Well, he was always kind. Probably the kindest person I've ever met." I said.

"What're you gonna do now, Sora-senpai?" Marine asked.

"I don't know. After hearing that Yamada still feels guilty about that day, I don't know what to feel." I grabbed my chest.

"I'll just leave the decision to you guys. I'm leaving now. I'm gonna need to take everything in slowly." I left.

Pekora's POV

"So guys? What do you think-peko?"

"Well, from that backstory, Yamada was the role model, but after rejecting Sora-senpai, I don't know." Suisei said.

"We should also note that he covered Pekora when her top was stripped." Korone said.

"Hmm, Kaichou? What do you think-peko?"

"I-I guess we should continue with what Sora originally intended."

"Okay everyone, Kaichou said that we're gonna continue with the original plan, and see what will happen."

"I guess we're done with the meeting. Let's go home now guys." We all went out of the building, and went to our respective homes.
