"You see, it starts just like all of your anime protagonist backgrounds, but his was quite an interesting one..."

I looked at the window.

"You see, Yamada belonged to a Filipino dad and Japanese mom before. Basically saying, he's adopted."

They widened their eyes.

"A-Adopted?! Yuna and Minato Shirazaki isn't his biological parents?!" Sora asked.

I nodded.

She frowned, nodded, and sat back down.

"His parents used to be happy. They were very happy, and a normal family, but...they noticed that Yamada was very intelligent as a baby, despite the father and mother being very average in terms of grades."

"H-How intelligent?" Aqua asked.

"He'd get a grade of 99 in every subject. Or if put in other terms, he gets straight A's. Hell, maybe A+'s"

They widened their eyes.

"Sasuga Yamada." They said.

I giggled.

"Can you all believe that Yamada used to be overweight before?"

They giggled.

"Overweight? He actually used to be fat?" Ayame asked.

"I can't really imagine that." Matsuri said.

"Actually, Ui-mama said that to me yesterday, that she was even shocked to know that Yamada used to be fat, but is now like a model." Subaru said.

We all giggled.

I then frowned.

"Though, that intelligence and body...was abused."

They tilted their heads.

"Even Yamada doesn't know why, but his parents slowly became tyrannical. At first, they were happy. His past mother and father never beat him up, or controlled him, but 'something' just suddenly spiked in them, and they started abusing Yamada. His father would come home drunk, and be so prideful. His mother started controlling him to do this and that. His mother even started becoming slutty, and would cheat just so that she can tell other men that she has the smartest son in the world, and when they'd come home, they'd call him names because he doesn't do what they want and because of his body type. And they..."

I looked at them seriously.

"They...started to physically abuse him for no reason."

They widened their eyes.

"L-Like what? The usual slipper thing?" Rushia asked.

I shook my head.

"He'd get whipped with a belt, and if that wasn't enough, he'd even be punched, threatened with a knife, and get pushed around. Note that he was still kindergarten at that time. So in a very young age, he was abused a lot. And that's not all..."

"There's more...?" They widened their eyes.

"Even his classmates started abusing him. Calling him names, and forcing him to help them with homework. Even the teachers didn't favor him, and would only grade him. He had to rely on himself only, with no one covering his back."

They covered their mouth in horror, and the others were just petrified.

"U-Uso..." Miko said.

"What a harsh life he lived!" Towa said.
