Ch. 8 - Let's talk Pt. 1

My alarm went off.

"I hope I got enough sleep." I dismissed the alarm, and checked the time.

"Yup. I got enough sleep." It was 7:30.

Wait, why did I even ask that? Of course I'd get enough sleep when my alarm goes off.

I went, and ate banana, apple, cheese sandwich, and some coffee for breakfast.

As I was eating, I got a message from Yagoo to go to the meeting room in HQ on 9:00 am.

"Must be something important if Old man is messaging us that."

I finished breakfast, took a shower, and put on clothes. I then just watched some Hololive stuff until it was 8:50 am.

"Yosh, time to go."

I took a taxi going towards there. After I arrived there, I went up the building, up to the 7th floor and went to the meeting room.

I hummed Daddy! Daddy! Do! along the way.

"I'm here." I looked around.

I guess I was the last person to arrive.

"Just in time." Yagoo smiled.

"Surprisingly, I was last." I went to my seat.

"Well, I think that's everyone."

"Yeah, Old man." I replied.

"I told you to call me Yagoo in public, Yamada."

"Gomen." I yawned.

"Anyway, what's the talk about, Yagoo?" Sora asked and yawned.

"Are any of you free on Sunday?"

"Well, almost all of us are free." Sora said.

Oh yeah, I think she said "almost" because they have contacts with each other, but I don't usually talk with them.

"I'm free."

"Well then...how about all of us go to the pool on Sunday?"

"...Eh?" They all said.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS OLD MAN?" I said in an excited voice.

I can already feel the death stares from every one of them.

"Ne, why are you happy-peko?" Pekora asked in a serious voice, with her eyes squinted.

"Huh?"

"Perhaps you...want to look at our swimsuits?" Korone asked.

"T-That's not it!" I tried to defend myself.

"I thought it was nice just being in the pool." I said as I looked up daydreaming and smiling.

"Are you that desperate to see us in swimsuits?" Rushia asked.

"I told you that's not it." I said as I looked up while thinking of them in swimsuits. For fuck's sake, brain, could you not? That's not my purpose, you know?

"Well, wouldn't you like that, Yamada? You're a man after all."

"Old ma-"

"Yagoo."

"Yagoo, I told you that I just liked the thought of being in the pool."

"But you thought about it, didn't you?"

Well, not gonna lie, I did thought about it, but I focused more on having fun in the pool.

"Well...not really."
