Chapter 4: Detention Drama.

At the end of the day I was told to go to room 208 for dentition. I hate the word but in all honesty I wouldn't be doing much just sitting there 'Thinking about what I've done' and what's even worse is that I brought Jackson into it, I just met him and already causing problems for him.

I walked in to see the person I was seriously tired of bumping into today.

Darwin.

Of course he's in here, I should have already known trouble like him lives in detention. He turned around and flashed a smile at me.

"Hey beautiful" he said as he bit his lip and looked me up and down. 

I rolled my eyes and walked off.

"Hey Wait" He said chasing after me.

I didn't pay it any mind I know what he was trying to do, but I was most definitely not about to fall for it. Suddenly I stepped back tripping over my own two feet I was about to land flat on my butt when in mid air I felt a gentle hand on my back.

I looked up to see Darwin hovering over me. We were never 'this' close before, his eyes melted into my soul. He smelled so good it sent chills down my spine I just wanted to bury myself into his chest. He looked straight into my eyes and looked almost lost as If he was taken by the moment too.

"I know I seem like a jerk to you, but if you would just give me a chance maybe you could see I'm different now."

I was breathless, he finally seemed to have come back to earth and stood me up hands still wrapped around me. Suddenly a loud cough was heard from in front of us and we quickly jumped back from each other. I looked away from Darwin but he was still looking at my every move.

The loud cough was Sydney standing infront of us arms crossed glaring at me.

I tried to escape the awkward moment and walk away but Sydney followed me. I sat in a chair the farthest from Darwin but sadly Sydney sat right next to me and continued glaring. I simply looked at her and smiled a innocent smile, she did a sarcastic smile back and said,

"You know I've already planned your death in my head right?"

... wtf? I looked puzzled.

"Why?" I asked really shook by her words.

She looked at me as If knowing I knew what was going on, Was she really mad over that little moment Darwin and I had? It meant nothing, at least I think it meant nothing.

"Darwin is mine! So you need to get your act together with him before there's a problem." She spat.

She looked serious, she was seriously mad at me over a guy she's not even dating?

I just sat there and looked at Sydney, No facial expressions were needed for this because she was being her usual jealous self. How insecure does she have to be to say something like that?

I gave her the 'Stank Face' and said, "Bless your delusional heart."

A uncontrollable smile appeared on my face for how stupid and silly this conversation is yet she continues to glare at me with her arms crossed. I honestly don't even like darwin I never had, well I do admit he's super hot but he's out of my league.

Ok so I realize I haven't told you much about our history so sit back, relax and let's take a trip down memory lane shall we.

Long story short I will have known him for 9 years now and Yes I did have a bit of a crush on him in grade school for a very small moment. I mean really what girl wouldn't especially at that age, It was in 4th grade and my hormones were everywhere! So I like to say It didn't mean anything.
