Eto na ang araw na kinakatakutan ko. Alam kong may alam na siya sa mga kasinungalingan ko pero hindi ko alam kung saan uumpisahan ang pag papaliwanag sa kanya.
She's lying on the bed. Pale and unconscious. Labis na takot at pangamba ang naramdaman ko ng bigla siyang sumigaw sa sakit sa harapan ko. She's holding her head and telling me to stop the pain.
If I could do anything, I will, just to ease her pain.
"Have you ever thought of what she thinks and feels right now... Don't you think its time to let her handle her own problems." Kontra niya sa sinabi ko.
I look at him with my bloodshot eyes. Hindi ko maramdaman ang pagod ko. Wala pa akong pahinga simula ng umusbong ang mga problema. Pero hindi ako pwedeng sumuko. Hinding hindi ako suksuko kahit kalabanin ko pa ang buong mundo, hindi ako susuko.
"I can't let her feel the same fear and pain again." Sabi ko sa kanya.
My voice sounds like a plea but I don't care anymore. I can't even remember the last time I becomes like this. Was it on my sister's death... Or my plea for my parent's life.
"But you're giving her a new fear. Hindi ka ba natatakot that one day she'll blame you for this, the lies and deception you inflicted. She would think that you treat her as a joke." Pagpapaalala niya sakin.
"I treat her as my everything..." Napahawak ako ng mahigpit sa kamay ni Celine.
Inilapit ko ang aking mukha doon at paulit ulit na hinalikan ang kanyang kamay. I just want her to wake up right now. I'm willing to explain everything ones she'll wake up.
Bumukas ang pinto. My eyes were only fixed on her. Tunod palang ng heels mukhang alam ko na kung simo ang paparating.
"I'm not in the mood to fight with you." Seryuso kong sabi ng hindi siya tinitignan.
"Are you nuts, Phil? Talagang nanghingi ka pa ng tulong kay Noah para sa babaeng yan?!" She explode in anger.
Napapikit ako sa inis. Irita ko siyang tinignan.
"I'm telling you umalis ka na habang nakakapag timpi pa ako." Mariin kong sabi sa kanya.
Ramdam sa buong silid ang tensyon sa aming dalawa.
Napabuntong hininga si Xavier at pagod na tinitigan kaming dalawa.
"Everytime you see each other you're always bickering. What's happening to the both of you?" He asked frustratedly while ruining her hair.
She looked away and stand firm.
"Just don't mess things up and you won't hear anything from me. Learn how to differ your work from personal things." She said before leaving elegantly.
Ang kanyang mataray na boses ay umalingawngaw sa buong silid.
"She got some point. But I understand your situation. I'll go to Elliot first. He's currently working on the job you gave him."He said before tapping my shoulder.
He left leaving me alone with Celine. I sighed heavily and stared at her peaceful face. The doctor said she was fine but I can't help but to worry.
"Wake up, please..." I said and kissed her palm.
"I need you..."
Hindi mawala wala ang kaba sa dibdib ko. I feel like there's something wrong but I can't tell what is it.
