'Almost everyone faces problems in one's personal life which one cannot share, no matter how desperate one is to shout it out. Either the problem can be social, economic or be staggering thoughts. You see, we become what we think about all day. and what people say or judge about us we take it to heart and keep on thinking and thinking that we're hopeless, worthless, nobody, a burden, a bad student, a bad child and all these thoughts that we let to get to us. We automatically become that. So, that's kind of my story, a child who becomes what she didn't thought she could become'

Mrs. David was running inside the room in a hurry.

"Oh! I'm going to be late. My boss would be angry as hell" said Mrs. David.

She came towards the stair case and asked, "David, dear do you know where my purse is?".

"No, I don't know where it is? Ask Melody" the latter replied.

Mrs. David sighed and sternly voiced her concern " Why would she know about my purse? When you don't even know".

Melody rushed down from stairs " Good morning Mother, Father" she greeted her parents.

"Where have you been?" Mrs. David asked. Melody answered as she walked towards the dining table "In my room".

"And what were you doing?" she asked again. "I was reading a book" Melody answered.

Mrs. David went still, "Hmm. Then who is going to study there is no one who'll do it for you".

Mr. David then rushed down from stairs grabbed his coat and said to his wife, "What are you doing you're going to be late".

"I know I just have to grab my things" Mrs. David now had forgotten about the question she had asked Melody and viciously began to grab her things.

Mr. David kissed on Melody's forehead and stated, "Now you be a good girl Melody and do your best for your studies. We'll be late today."

Melody felt disappointed but was interrupted by her mother as she was going to voice her concern, "Okay, I'm ready, let's get going." Mr. David replied to her, "Okay then."

As the two of them were just going to leave Melody got up and finally spoke up, "Um can you two not go today it's Saturday, then maybe we can spend time together"

Mr. David and Mrs. David were taken aback.

"Melody, you know that it is important for us to go, right?".

"Yes, I know you two have to work but-" Melody started to say but once again got interrupted.  "My girl, if you know the reason then why are you asking? We can have family time some other day, alright?"

Melody stared down at the floor and closed her fist tight.

Mrs. David then said, "Come on, we are getting late"

Her husband went outside as she hugged Melody and consoled her, "You don't have to worry about these things you're a 14-year-old young girl all you have to pay attention to is towards your studies. Now, smile and be a good. Okay?"

Melody stared into her eyes and smiled.

"That's my girl" she rubbed her daughter's head and left.

" Now be sure to lock the door before you leave and be careful" she advised.

Melody nodded back and in a blink of an eye she was alone in the room.
