Got my head above the water, keep praying that i wont drawn
But the waves are taking me under, I've been fighting from dusk till dawn
Big smile, picture perfect, on day light
But got battles to fight, every night
Old memories that feel me, with pain and rage,
That time haven't held.Some wounds don't age.
You just live with them, evident on your soul
An endless void, A prominent hole
Waiting to be filled, yearning to be whole
The blows taken, the scares earned
The wars lost, with lesson learned
All this, is gonna make you stronger
Let your past make you better, not bitter
As long as you don't give up,
You are a winner.
Wear your scars with pride,
You are a fighter.
You just have to keep on going,
You are a surviver.
