Henry takes a few days to think, about the repercussions of telling Tony, he still loves him, always the man of facts Henry had IAN help him make a pros and cons list, the only con he could think of was that Tony didn't like him back, but that was a pretty big one so Henry thought it counted for a lot.
Henry also thought about the future, according to the internet whoever you saw was supposed to determine who you are supposed to be with, when Henry did that, it was Tony, he even tried other times, it always Tony.
Henry knew he had to tell Tony, but he was scared, so he went to the only person he could think of, Rhodey.
Henry's hands began sweating when he raised it to knock on the door, he heard someone walking, and then the door opened.
"Henry Oakley! Haven't seen you in a while." Roberta Rhodes embraced Henry.
"Hi, Mrs. Rhodes." Henry smiles and goes into the house when Roberta steps aside.
"Please, I told you many times to call me Roberta, now what can I do for you?" Henry blushes.
"I was wondering if Rhodey is here?" Henry shuffles his feet cleaning off any dirt that may have been on his shoes.
"Oh yes, he's in the living, do you still remember where it is?" Roberta kindly asks.
"Yes, thank you." Henry smiles.
"I'll be in the kitchen with Jeanette if you need anything." Roberta nods and goes off towards the kitchen.
When Henry walks into the living room he sees Rhodey sitting on the couch talking to a little girl he's never seen before.
"Hi, hope I'm not interrupting." Henry sheepishly knocks on the doorframe of the living room.
"Henry! Hi, what a nice surprise, come, sit." Rhodey nods his head towards the big comfy chair offset from the couch.
"Who's this cutie?" Henry motions to the little girl sitting in front of the couch staring at Henry.
"That's Lila, Jeanette's daughter, Honey, why don't you go see if your Mom needs help, Henry and I need to talk about adult things." Lilia huffs but gathers her toys and walks towards the kitchen.
"How did you know that I needed to talk to you?" Henry chuckles.
"You had the same look on your face that you did when you asked me if you can date Tony on your face when you walked in." Rhodey shakes his head fondly.
"Guess I'm that predictable huh." Henry smiles thinking back to how nervous he was.
"Sorry, Mom wanted me to serve you guys some coffee, nice to see you again Henry." Jeanette came into the living room with two coffees, both in Oakley Technologies coffee cups.
"Huh, cute." Henry lifted the coffee cup to his lips and smirked at Rhodey.
"Thanks, Jean." Jeanette rolled her eyes at Rhodey's nickname for her.
"Um, are you sure that Tony still likes me?" Henry blurts out after he puts the coffee cup on the table beside him.
"I'm sure." Rhodey's eyes twinkle with pride.
"How are you so sure?" Henry furrows his brows.
"He still has the baby's breath flower tattoo on his ankle." Henry gasps, he pulls up his pant leg to reveal the small flower tattoo in a matching spot on his ankle.
"Oh," Henry whispers, not caring that tears were flooding his eyes.
"If he didn't love you anymore, he would've gotten that covered up, trust me. He tried too many times but he could never do it, because he loves you Hen, always has and always will." Henry gets up and walks towards leaning down to hug Rhodey, whispering a thank you, he walks towards the door.
"Where are you going?" Rhodey chuckles.
"To profess my love." Henry winks at Rhodey and walks out the door.
No time to get nervous now, Henry had something to do.

The nerves started once Henry pulled into the Avengers Compound.
Doubt began to fill Henry's mind, but he pushed that away, he had to do this, he had to get answers, before Henry knew it, he was in the elevator going up towards Tony's penthouse.
"Oh, Hi Henry, didn't expect to see you today." Tony smiled brightly when Henry walked out of the elevator.
"Hi, Tony." Henry sat down in the living room, suddenly overcome with nervousness.
"Not that I'm not happy to see you but, why are you here?" Tony chuckles awkwardly.
"Do you remember when we got the tattoo together?" Henry gulps.
"Of course I do, you said for us it meant forever, which, I guess wasn't true." Tony chuckles humorlessly.
"We still can have forever," Henry says softly.
"What do you mean? We broke up." Henry suddenly gets up and sits next to Tony.
"Tony, I still have feelings for you." Henry's hands itch to grab Tony's hand but he resists.
"What? Why? We broke up." Tony shakes his head in denial.
"Kiss me." Henry blurts out.
"What?" Tony looks at Henry confused.
"Kiss me and if you don't feel anything, I will never bring past us up." Henry decides to take a leap of faith and grabs Tony's hand, which Tony doesn't pull back from.
"Fine, but when I don't feel anything you'll forget about us right?" Tony looks at Henry sternly who nods.
Henry leans in towards Tony, putting his hands behind Tony's head, he softly kisses him, this position felt natural to Henry, Henry could feel Tony melt into the kiss.
"That was uh." Tony pulls back from the kiss, scratching his head.
"You felt it didn't you?" Henry softly asks, he gasps a little at Tony's nod.
"I did, and I remembered why It was so hard to break up with you." Tony gulps.
"We can always try again, for forever this time." Henry rubs his finger over Tony's lips.
"For forever." Tony leans towards Henry and kisses him again.
Sure, Henry doesn't really know if they have forever, but they get a second chance, and that is what matters to Henry, they can only hope for forever.
