Coffee and Scones

It was a tiring morning for Julia; waking up at 4, getting showered and dressed and dealing with a very cranky baby. Preston didn't want to wake up, even though Julia was preaching to him that he could fall back asleep at work; his fits would not end. 

"Mama! I want sleep!" He cried out as she dressed him in his white plaid button up shirt and his tan jean pants. 

"You can sleep! Just wait 10 minutes, Bubba." Preston threw more fits and began to throw his toys everywhere, making her apartment messy. Julia sighed with tears forming into her eyes. She was frustrated, she just let Preston destroy the apartment. She was too tired to even care, she just needed for find some clothes to wear, get her hair done, and put on her make up before they could leave. 

Julia decided to go into more of her comfort zone today, a forest green wrangler button up shirt with a pair of her favorite high waist fitted baby blue jeans, with her shirt tucked in the front. Julia put on a simple black belt on her jeans and threw her hair up in a pony tail, and put on a minimal of make up, such as mascara and lip gloss. That's it. 

Her shoes of the day were here high heel black sandals, as much as she hated wearing them; she had to look somewhat business casual. 

Julia walked over to pack up the diaper bag for Preston, bringing extra snacks since both of them ate nearly all of them. Also, Julia picked up more juice and milk from the store the night before so she could make more bottles for her son.

"Preston, come on. It's time to go!" Julia put my phone in her purse and got the diaper bag, and she got her son on her hip.

In the CEO's office...

It's Tuesday, it's 6:42 in the morning. The tired CEO sipped his hot coffee before he sat down in his office chair.

"Another damn day, let's get it started." He opened his laptop and yawned, fixing his tie. The rich Kaiba wore his blue tux today, which he matched with his white tie.

Seto Kaiba received an email, from Julia Williams. He opened it and scanned with his tired eyes.

Good morning, Mr. Kaiba. I reached my office, and I could use a strong cup of coffee. I was in a rush this morning, can you send someone to my office with some? If not, that's okay. 

The CEO sighed, and replied to her email as he craved some scones.

I'll be there.

Yawning, Seto Kaiba got up from his desk and went over to Julia's office.

Within the next few minutes, Seto Kaiba reached her office, and walked in seeing her feeding her son a bottle in her lap as she worked. She looked up at him with dried tears in her eyes.

"Morning, Miss Williams." She pulled off a small, fake smile. 

"Good morning, I'm sorry about the email asking you for coffee. I've had a rough morning." Julia stretched out the last couple words in a big yawn, in which she covered with her working hand.

"Don't apologize. Come on, we're getting coffee." Julia looked up shocked at her boss.

"Excuse me? We're going out to get coffee?" Kaiba then glared down on her, and turned his back to her. 

"You better hurry, before I reconsider. I'll drive." Julia quickly saved her progress on her design, grabbed her purse and diaper bag and took a hold of Preston's hand. 

Julia soon followed behind her boss as they walked out of Kaiba Corporation, heading towards Kaiba's car. 

"I need to get Preston's car seat." Julia said, in a forgetful tone.
