Nightmares

QUICK NOTE: Hey y'all! This chapter and possibly the next few chapters will be in 3rd person's POV. :)

Previously in Domino's New Girl....

"Let me-GO!" Julia shouted, and Joshua pressed the cold blade against her neck. Tears ran down her face.

"Mokuba, here." Seto gave him Preston. "Don't make him see this, understand?" The little brother to Seto Kaiba nodded and Ingram smiled.

"Kaiba, all you have to do is let my son walk over to me. I would gratefully let go of Julia." Kaiba stood tall and stuck his hand into his trench coat.

"I refuse to let you hurt my girlfriend, and I refuse to let Preston near you, psycho." The CEO smirked, pulling out a gun and immediately pulled the trigger.

Shooting and killing Joshua Ingram. 

In the Kaiba mansion at 2:13 in the morning..

"NO!!" Julia shot up screaming. She sat up and saw Seto sleeping soundly beside her. How the hell could he sleep after he just killed Preston's sperm donor?! 

She sighed and carefully removed herself from the bad, even though her screaming didn't wake up Seto which shocked her. Julia went into the bathroom attached to the room they shared, and splashed some water on her face. She turned her head after she heard some footsteps to see Seto Kaiba leaning against the door way of the bathroom.

"Julia, are you okay?" He asked, annoyed and tiredly. Julia shook her head and took a towel to her face, wiping it clean.

"How could I? Preston's poor excuse of a father was shot and killed by you! I had a nightmare where my damned son was shot instead of him!" Tears ran down Julia's face, which made Seto's soften.

"Julia, Preston's fine. Come back to bed, it's still early." Julia glared at her own boyfriend.

"No, Seto. I'm getting my son." She walked right passed him and once she put her hand on the doorknob, she felt a grip on her other wrist. 

"Julia, everything is okay." As more tears streamed down her face, she ignored him. She took her wrist back and opened up the door, heading to Preston's.

She opened the door to his room and walked in it as quietly as she could, trying not to wake him up. Julia slowly made her way to his bed and saw him sleeping peacefully. She then let out a sigh of relief. 

"Told you." She turned around to see that stubborn man in the doorway of her son's room.

"I wouldn't know what to do if my son was hurt, Seto. The dream just felt so real." She told him as she gently ran the side of her finger on the side of Preston's cheek. 

Her posture changed when the blue-eyed brunette came over to her and hugged her from behind.

"I shot him in order to protect the both of you, like I promised." He said huskily in her ear, which made her bite her bottom lip. "I know you're biting your lip, Julia." Seto remarked, making Julia smirk.

"I'm sure you do know, but I hope you also know that you're going to get in trouble with the feds now right?" He scoffed in her ear. 

"No, I won't be. I made the call. I admitted I shot and killed him when you were still trying to collect your thoughts. It was for protection since he threatened to cut open your throat, therefore, I won't be in any trouble. It's all taken care of."
