The Name's Julia Spencer

Julia's POV

We pulled up to Industrial Illusions, and I begged Seto to drop off Mokuba and my son at the hotel, and he eventually gave in. I slipped my deck box in my small purse I kept on my side though, since I will be needing it anyway. 

"Seto?" He looked at me as we stayed in the car. 

"What?" He looked annoyed, but I don't blame him since I snapped on him earlier when he was being a prick. I sighed and kissed his cheek.

"No matter what happens today, just keep in mind that Preston and I love you." I grabbed my purse and got out of the car, leaving Seto speechless in the drivers seat. I just looked behind me one last time, and saw him staring at me before I walked in the front doors of Industrial Illusions. 

The building was huge, slightly bigger than Kaiba Corp, but the size don't matter sometimes I guess. I walked over to the front desk and saw Pegasus' secretary, who smiled at me.

"Hello, miss. Do you have an appointment with Sir Pegasus today?" I nodded and smiled back at her, clearly making it known that it was fake. 

"Yes, ma'am. It's more of an he expected me here kind of thing. I don't believe I'm in the system for you to look up." She began typing, logging in.

"What's your name honey? Just to be sure?" I looked around, to see that Seto didn't make it in the building yet, perfect.

"Julia Spencer." I said, cringing at the last name I used, and she grinned. 

"Alright, yes you do seem to be in here." I widened my eyes slightly, as I felt an arm snake around my waist. 

"Julia Spencer?" It was Seto, damn it. I sighed and I gave the desk woman my full attention.

"Okay, great. I'll inform him that you're here!" She cheered, motioning Seto and I to take seats. 

It was a quiet moment, until Seto broke that silence.

"Are you known as Julia Spencer; not Julia Williams?" I let out my side braid, revealing my long brown locks and curls. "Julia?" He pried. 

"Why are you curious?" I asked him, trying to not snap. 

"Because, my step father used to associate with Spencer Corp in NYC. Mokuba and I went to Chicago with our step father, meeting with Spencer, and everything changed with that company when I got in office." I turned my head in confusion.

"What do you mean?" He scoffed.

"It's not worth talking about if you're not the daughter of that sick, twisted man; Kenneth Spencer." I nodded, swallowing the last bit of pride I had left, trying to keep my anxiety down. "Also, I love you and Preston too." I looked at him and he gave me that one smile, the one he shows Mokuba and my son. 

He leaned down and gave me a small kiss. I smiled when we parted, hoping his feelings won't change when he finds out the real truth about me; Julia Spencer, the daughter of the horrid man known as Kenneth Spencer. 

A few moments later...

I pulled out my phone and checked the time, which was almost 11 in the morning. I was getting slightly impatient, only until the door opened revealing Pegasus.

"Why, hello Kaiba-boy!" He stated, then looked at me up and down, which made me feel the utmost uncomfortable. "Julia Spencer, nice to meet you." He took out his hand for me to shake it, in which I denied. 

"Pegasus." Seto and I said in unison hoping to get this stupid show on the road. 

"Come, come. I have a special visitor for you guys to meet!" Seto got a hold of my hand as we followed Pegasus down the hall to the meeting room. 

"Seto, I-" I got cut off by Pegasus opening the door, revealing my father Kenneth Spencer sitting on the far end of the meeting table, smirking. 

"Kaiba, Julia. This is Kenneth-" Seto cut off Pegasus this time.

"Spencer."

Venom. He shot venom at my father, and I couldn't help but let my heart sink to the pit of my stomach. This was not going to be easy. The tension between Seto and my father was so thick, you couldn't cut it with a sword, let alone a knife. 

"My, my. Seto Kaiba, all grown up." He got up from his seat and began to walk over to us, and Seto stepped in front of me, making sure he wasn't going to let my father get to me that easily. 

"Yes, I am. Now, why are you here?" Seto then perked up to see Pegasus taking a seat. "Pegasus, where's Yugi? We came here to get him, not to play your stupid games." 

"Patience, Kaiba-boy. You see, Yugi was bait!" His laugh was menacing, but hearing that statement did not make Seto very amused. 

"What the hell do you mean?!" He snapped, which made both older men chuckle. 

"I wanted to meet the daughter of Spencer Corp's CEO, even though that company belongs to me." Pegasus shot a smirk my way, knowing this was just a part of the snake plan he had. Seto then turned around and eyed me. Fuck.

Seto's POV

"I wanted to meet the daughter of Spencer Corp's CEO, even though that company belongs to me."

Pegasus was sending a smirk to Julia, and I just couldn't help but turn around and eyed her, up and down. Shocked. She's the daughter of the wicked man, I could tell she was afraid but I couldn't let Pegasus walk all over her like that. I have to prove to her that I loved her and Preston.

"Pegasus, don't feed me your lies!" I shouted to him, glaring at both men. 

"Seto, it's true." I heard Julia, but she had to be lying too.

"Julia, no." He turned back to me, and I could tell by her expression that she regretted saying that. 

"It's true, and as much as I hate to admit the fact I am Kenneth Spencer's daughter, I am." She stepped in front of me, facing her father and Pegasus. "Where the hell is Yugi?" She demanded, only earning a laugh.

"Like I said, he was bait to get you to come here, dear." Pegasus purred, which made me roll my eyes. "He's out now, and has been since his little friends got here, so I paid them to go back to Domino City." I heard her sigh in disappointment.

"So, why am I here? What do you want from me!?" I could tell that Julia was getting upset, since she was basically screaming. I wrapped my arm around her and faced the men with her.

"Duel me, Julia Spencer; the Pyro Duelist." Kenneth stated. 

"What's in it for her, you slime ball?" I asked him, biting my lower lip and I could feel her slightly shaking.

"I'll drop down as CEO, and disown her of the Spencer name."

"Then if you win, I'll go with you back to NYC." Julia butted in. "I'll duel in your tournaments, I'll take your place as CEO, and be a part of that stupid company that ruined this damn family, which is why I have my mother's last name." She sounded so broken at the end of her statement, but before I could negate the deal, Kenneth laughed manically. 

"Deal, Julia."
