It has been almost 20 minutes since I got off the phone with my fiance, patiently waiting for him to come home from work. He did say a couple hours, so maybe he's having Roland go grocery shopping for him even though I don't mind doing it myself. I sighed in exhaustion since today has been a rough one. Preston urinated on me, Seto's working back at Kaiba Corporation, and Mokuba laughs whenever Preston misbehaves. It also doesn't help when Mokuba stays up all night playing video games and sleeps in to almost 2 in the afternoon. I sure wish I could do that.
Speaking of sleeping, Mokuba put Preston to nap in his bed so I could have a while for myself to relax; thank goodness. So, I made myself a sandwich and poured myself some milk, enjoying it at the table while scrolling through social media.
"Hey, Julia?" I looked over to see Mokuba and he was smiling, so I wonder what that was about.
"What's up, Mokuba?" I asked him with a small grin. He then hands me a small gift bag and gives me a hug. "Oh?" I placed the gift bag on the table and hugged the younger Kaiba back, curious on what's in the bag.
"You've been doing a whole lot lately since Seto started working back at Kaiba Corp, so I wanted to show you my appreciation." We parted our hug and he walked off, leaving me alone with the small gift bag.
I open the bag and there was a little white box covered in blue tissue paper. I took it out, unwrapped it, and there was a small note card on the white box.
Julia, I'm so happy you met my big brother. You changed him, his attitude is happier than how it was before you guys met. He really needs you and Preston in his life. I've been needing to give you this for a couple days, so I'm sorry it was delayed. You're a great mother and I'm lucky to be Uncle Mokie! Seto and you are meant to be, and I can't wait to see you guys be married. The wedding will be phenomenal! Love, Mokuba
Reading the note from the younger brother of my CEO fiance brought tears to my eyes. I pulled up the camera on my phone and took a quick photo of the note before opening the box, revealing a charm bracelet. It was red, my favorite color. I smiled, took a photo of it and I put it on my wrist.

I sighed happily, knowing I'm a great mom. Though, I do know that I am but days like these make me feel like I'm not. Most of the time I feel defeated, especially when I get stressed. I threw out the gift bag and finished my sandwich and my milk, then I cleaned up my spot on the table since there was a few loose crumbs.

I picked up my phone seeing that Seto was calling me.
"Hey, love."
"Julia, hey." His voice was soft, I loved it. I adored this man so much.
"What's going on? Are you alright?" My heart skipped a couple beats, because I had a feeling that he had a surprise for me as well.
