Duel Against the New Enemy

Julia's POV

Seto and I left the cafe and he could tell that I wasn't the happiest of all people.

"Julia." I ignored him, I couldn't believe he's going to let a duel decide his fate with my son. "Julia?" He said again as we got into his car. 

"What, Seto?!" I snapped, not looking at him. I just buckled up and looked out of the window. He got in and started his car, and snapped his buckle on. 

"Why are you mad? You should be proud that I'm dueling for Preston!" He said, clearly angered. 

"A damn duel shouldn't choose the fate of my son! You, Seto are making a big mistake!" I yelled, making him look down in his lap, and quickly began to drive. 

"Do you think I'm going to lose to a lowlife who couldn't even be there for you? Who couldn't even be there for Preston? What's the mistake here?" I sighed, hearing his question.

"My son is worth more than a duel. If you lose, then I would have to share my son with someone who never cared until now. He has no idea how to change a diaper, how to put clothes on him or even bathe him. Do you think I want to put Preston through that?!" My angered CEO of a boyfriend sighed in annoyance.

"You think I'm going to lose?" He paused. "I won't lose."

I sighed in irritation and I pulled out my phone, texting Mokuba.

Mokuba's POV

"Hey, Preston!" I looked at him who was eating some applesauce. 

"Hi!" The little boy cheered, it made me so happy seeing my nephew smile. 

"What would you like to do today?" I asked him as I made myself a sandwich for lunch.

"I wanna see my mommy!"

I checked my phone, which was a text message from Julia. 

"Speaking of your mommy, she sent me a message!" I pulled up the message, which shocked me on what she said.

Hey, sweetie. Your brother and I ran into Preston's father, Joshua. So, he challenged Seto to a duel. We're heading to Kaiba Corp. right now so they can duel, so can you please bring Preston there? 

I sighed, and I sent her a text back.

Sure thing. How long do you think?

I looked over to her son and smiled at him.

"Do you want to see your mom later?" I asked him gently, and he threw his hands up in the air in excitement.

"Yes, please!"

Seto's POV

I parked my car in the parking lot of my company. I got out and I went to open Julia's door to only see her getting out herself.

"I was going to be nice, but nevermind." I glared.

"I'm sure I'll be just fine opening a door." Julia glared back as I got in my trunk to pull out my suit case. 

I pulled out my duel disk and my deck, and put my deck in place, then we saw another car pull up. It parked across the parking lot and I made sure to put Julia behind me, knowing that he wasn't going to get to her, he doesn't deserve her. 

"My, my. Now, you're ready? Still, Preston is not here. How saddening." Ingram smirked. It made me growl. "Intimidated much? For being the 'father' of my son and already bothered?" I smirked then, what an idiot.
