Domino's New Girl

Change of Plans

Soon after Julia and Preston visited the CEO of Kaiba Corporation, Julia went shopping; to find a new dress for her dinner date tonight. She took her son with her and they went almost everywhere to find the perfect dress; Domino mall, department retail stores, nothing. She went online to see if anyone had an extra dress, in her favorite color; maroon. 

Someone found her post on the Domino City marketplace and messaged her, selling the a simple, yet adorable A-Line Sweetheart dress in Julia's size. 

"This is the one!" She squealed in happiness, meeting the girl to pick it up.

In Seto Kaiba's office was a focusing man with a migraine.

"Ugh.." The rich man groaned. Then, of course the systems shut down, his computer turned off, the power in the whole building turned off. The angered CEO stood up and slammed his fists down on his office desk. "Damn it!!!!" 

His office door slammed open, revealing Mokuba running to him. 

"Seto! Everything short circuited!" This made Seto even more mad, he was so close to finally getting caught up.

"Set up a meeting for every employee in the meeting room across from Julia's office." Seto Kaiba ordered of his brother. Mokuba nodded and ran out and he dialed Julia's cell phone number.

"Hey, Seto!" He sighed. "What's wrong?" 

"My day is fucking great, Julia." He rubbed his forehead, as his migraine grew to the point where he didn't want to open his eyes. "Everything short circuited, so Mokuba is setting up an emergency meeting." Seto looked at the clock on his wall, which read 2:13 in the afternoon.

"Oh shit, that's not good. Do you need me to show up to the meeting?" 

"No, I'll let you know about it later. Is your computer in your office?" He asked her as he slowly opened his eyes.

"Yeah, I don't have internet at my apartment so if we have to work from home until it gets fixed, I don't know if I can finish my assignment." Great, even better. 

"You and Preston can stay with Mokuba and I then. Pack enough for a week, okay?" 

"Alright, Seto." She sighed in irritation, knowing Seto was just trying to be nice, but damn his cocky demanding tone was something she hated.

"Julia, I'm sorry." He apologized after hearing the irritation.

"It's fine, Seto. Don't apologize. I have to go, I bought a dress and I need to take it home." 

"Okay, I'll see you at 6." He hung up and walked out of his office and headed over to the meeting room.

"Hey, Seto. I got everyone." The room was full, with some people sitting in chairs and others standing and leaning against the wall.

"Alright, everyone!" The angered, and annoyed CEO shouted. "For those with laptops, take them home. We're working from home until I can get this figured out. For those who are off work right now will get the notification of this accident!" He sighed, his migraine was not leaving, and he just wanted to get out of his job. "If you cannot work from home, I need to be emailed immediately!"

At Julia's apartment....

Julia put her new dress in her washer as Preston took his afternoon nap in his bed. She began to have a headache, so she went into the kitchen to take some Tylenol. She pulled out a water bottle from her fridge and quickly took the pain reliever, hoping the pain would subside soon.

She pulled out her phone seeing the unknown caller for the 2nd time today, so she finally answered it.
