Breakfast with the Brothers

Julia's POV

We arrived at Denny's in San Francisco which is one of my favorite restaurants, so it worked out great. Mokuba got a hold of the diaper bag, I had Preston on my hip, and Seto's arm was around my waist. 

"You guys never been to a Denny's before?" I asked them as we walked inside and requested a table. 

"No, we don't come to America very often." Seto said as he put Preston in his high chair. 

"Daddy?" Preston turned his head to him, and reached. 

"Would you like him to sit by you?" I asked him, and he giggled and nodded.

"Yes, please." Seto smiled and sat down by him and Preston was really happy. 

Mokuba and I then took our seats and our server came over. 

"Hi, welcome to Denny's." She cheered as she handed us our menus. "What can I get you guys to drink this morning?" She asked nicely. 

"Orange juice for my son please, and I'll take a coffee." I started. 

"Okay." She turned to Seto.

"Coffee." She turned to Mokuba lastly and he ordered orange juice as well.

"Alright, I'll be back." 

We scanned our menus as she walked away, and I noticed that Preston was coloring over the pancakes with the crayons.

"Would you like some pancakes?" I asked him as the Kaiba brother's were still looking at the menu.

"Yes, mama." He said and he pointed at the eggs. 

"Eggs too? Bacon or sausage?" 

"Bacon, mama."

"Okay, we have to wait until she comes back, Bubba okay?" Preston nodded as he continued to color peacefully. I looked over at Seto and he set his menu down. "What are you getting, love?" I asked him as the waitress walked over setting our drinks on the table. 

"Here you guys go." She said so sweetly. "Are you guys ready to order?" I nodded and I looked at Seto so he could go first.

"I'm ordering your T-Bone steak and eggs breakfast, medium steak with over medium eggs, hash browns, and white toast please." 

"Okay." She wrote it down and turned to me. "What would you and your son like?" I smiled and I said, 

"My son will have your Build Your Own Junior Slam please, with scrambled eggs and bacon please." She wrote it down and looked back up to me. "Then, I'll do your Moons Over My Hammy please, with your hash browns."

"Alright, and you young man?" She said to Mokuba. 

"I'll do your blueberry pancake breakfast, with scrambled eggs and hash browns, with some sausage links please!" He cheered out to her. 

"Okay, sounds good!" She finished writing everything down and we handed her our menus. "I'll put it in the system and I'll bring it out soon." She smiled and walked away. 

"Mommy." I looked up to my son who was smiling.

"What, Preston? You okay?" He nodded and made a kiss face, and put his hand on it and took it off, as if he was blowing me a kiss. "Aw, thank you. I love you too." I smiled, I loved seeing my son do things like this, it made my heart so happy.

He then began to blow kisses to Mokuba and Seto, who sat beside him.

"Thank you, Preston." Mokuba cheered, and Seto just sat in silence.

"Love, are you okay?" I asked him, since he really did seemed bothered by something, and I was eager to find out what it was. 

"I'm fine, Julia." He told me coldly. I sighed and Preston gave him a weird look. 

"You need nap, dad." I smirked, trying to not laugh at his comment, which made Seto smile, but Mokuba was laughing. 

"I do need a nap, Preston." Seto admitted. "Too bad we're busy today, even though I was disrupted in the middle of my meeting yesterday. I got an email to reschedule, and I sent them a time tomorrow, with no interruptions." He took a sip of his coffee and I just sighed. 

"Well, that's if we can. We're heading over to Industrial Illusions after here to see what the hell's going on with Yugi." Mokuba stated. 

"He's true, Seto. Also, family comes first so if I'm busy and Preston needs something, then I'm going to need you to help." I told him, as I took a sip of my coffee and he shot me a glare. 

"I'm aware." I rolled my eyes and Mokuba rubbed my back shoulder, knowing that Seto's trying and he's just tired and stressed due to work.

"Speaking of which, Mokuba." I turned to him and he smiled.

"What's up, Julia?" 

"You've been here before right?" He nodded.

"Yup, my big brother and I have been here a couple times. Why?" I grinned and the young Kaiba smirked.

"Would you like to show me around tomorrow then while Seto's having his meeting? I mean, that's if he's okay with watching Preston and we're back to the hotel from Yugi's rescue?" Mokuba nodded, knowing this was a test for Seto to prove himself.

"Of course!" We then turned to a grumpy Seto Kaiba, who was also being watched by Preston.

"Seto?" He sighed in annoyance. 

"Fine." 

Mokuba then winked at me.

"Don't worry, big bro. We won't take the whole day away from you." Mokuba and I shared our giggles, then within the next couple moments, our hot breakfast plates were coming our way. 

"Time to eat!" I went into the bag and I handed Seto the bib for Preston and he put it on him with no issue.

FYI, my dueling is terrible. I really tried with the duel between Joshua Ingram and Seto Kaiba in the previous chapters, but I want to make this upcoming duel better than that one. I'm going to have Julia have her own deck that Seto and Mokuba had no idea she had, so please bare with me!
