"You want to adopt Preston?" She asked sweetly with some tears of happiness in her eyes.

"I do, and I'm not doing it to have an heir. I'm not doing it right now to get rid of you." I told her wholeheartedly. "I love you, and Preston." This woman has changed me, and I want her to know how much I appreciate her.

"I love you too, Seto. We both do." One tear fell down her cheek as she took a pen and signed on the respected lines as to. "Preston." She looked over to face him and his smile was plastered on his face.

"What, mama?" He asked Julia.

"Are you ready to become a Kaiba?"

"Yes!" Preston screamed, which made both Julia and I smile, Preston Michael Kaiba.

QUICK NOTE: This chapter will continue in Seto's POV. He's going to be more himself in this chapter, ya know? Being more of a dick than usual. :) Thank you for reading!

I kissed my fiance deeply, and we heard Preston clapping. Julia turned away and found her way to the fridge. She took out some of the blueberries and strawberries, then the cutting board out of the drawer.

"What are you doing?" I asked her, walking over to her and getting one of Preston's plates out of the cupboard.

"I'm making a small snack, it's almost 2 in the afternoon and he had an early lunch. I didn't eat anything yet today either so I'd like to munch on something too." Julia said, getting a bit snippy. Rolling my eyes, I head upstairs to check on Mokuba; since he never came down the stairs from the new office.

I went to turn the knob, then I heard a thud. Sighing, I opened the door seeing that my little brother dropped one of the art canvases. Good thing, it was the last one.

"Mokuba?" He was wide-eyed as he saw me walk inside. He nervously scratched the back of his head and laughed a bit, trying to keep it to himself while I was glaring.

"S-sorry, Seto. It kind of slipped out of my hands when I was trying to put it on the wall." He got up, since he fell from the step stool and he picked up the wall decor.

"You could ask for help." I offered, closing the door behind me.

"This is the last one, Seto. I think it should be ready for her after I clean up in here." I scanned the room, only to see her office trash can filled up with wrappers from the special adhesive for the pictures and frames. I bent down and tied the bag, getting ready to change it for her. "Oh, thanks." I heard my brother say with a smile on his face. With my known poker face, I turned back to him and nodded.

"Yeah, whatever." While holding the small garbage bag in my hands, I head downstairs to throw it away.

I see Julia eating with Preston, and it smelled like oatmeal. She must have mixed the fruit together for them. I also noticed that Preston was drinking from a plastic cup instead of a bottle, and Julia was drinking from an actual glass. I threw away the small bag into the kitchen garbage and I felt eyes looking at me.

I turned around and saw Julia smiling and I didn't smile back. Her smile went away and I walked over to her, kissed her head and sat down with her.

"I was going to apologize for being snippy but okay." She sighed, and took another bite of her oatmeal.

"I'll get an apology later." I told her cockily with my smirk, but she just grinned and giggled a little, then reaching over to Preston with a wet wipe, cleaning off his face.

"What makes you say that, Seto?" She asked me, finishing the wipe down and put the dirty wipe in a paper towel.

"Because. I have a special surprise for you, remember?" Julia nods in agreement as she took another bite of her almost empty bowl.

"Oh, yes. I did forget." She giggled slightly with her mouth full of oatmeal. I shot her a glare, then her giggling stopped.

"The last thing we need is my family choking." Julia nodded once again and swallowed the last bit of the oatmeal, and took both her and the nearly empty plate from Preston, and he took a sip from the plastic cup.

"Are you off tomorrow, Seto?" She asked me, as she cleaned off Preston's face once again with more of the wipes, and wrapping the dirty wipes in paper towels.

"I'm not, I have to work tomorrow and late." I told her bluntly as she pulled Preston out of the high chair and set him on the ground, making him land on his feet. Julia rinsed off the dishes and put them in the dishwasher with the detergent ready so she could start it later. "Why?" She pursed her lips and sighed.

"Tomorrow's Saturday, it would just be nice to have you here for a whole weekend." She said, heading to his high chair and getting his cup to clean it out in the sink, then putting it in the dishwasher. She closed it and grabbed the milk out of my fridge so she could fill up her glass.

"You know the only day I could be here is Sunday, and I spent almost an entire week here! The power outage at Kaiba Corp made us more behind!" I scolded, only to get a glare in response.

"I understand that! But, there's something you have to understand too!" Julia said, trying to scold me which only got me to chuckle. "I'm serious!"

"Okay?" I could tell I was getting under her skin, and honestly, it kind of turned me on. I planned on getting her fire'd up so we both could enjoy a heated night, but a part of me believes it won't happen that way.

"Family is more important." She told me, chugging her milk and cleaned out her cup in the kitchen sink. "Family is more important than work. It's more important than anything, besides yourself." Julia put her glass in the dishwasher, and started it right up not even having a full load in there.

"Julia-." I started, but she just ignored me as she took Preston upstairs into his room.

A few moments later, I heard a door open and I look up the stairs to see Mokuba walking out of the room and closing the door behind him. He made eye contact with me and put his thumbs up, so I could go back up there to see what else he had done to Julia's new home office.

"I think we should add in those child things from her old office at Kaiba Corp, that would be so cool for her to have!" Mokuba cheered, asking me.

"True, but in case she comes back to Kaiba Corp they might as well stay there." Mokuba shrugged, and smiled still.

"Do you think she'll like it, big bro?"

"I'm sure she will."
